Quiet week. I thought we would just go away for a short while. As in we had a couple of back to back guest episodes.

And yeah, it's still so quiet after all that.

Yeah. It's only, you know, today was so hard to find topics.

I know. And then the end of the World Cup, I thought, oh, this is it already. Life gets slow again.

**Haresh** (1:15)
Yeah, gonna be like shaking, you know, like in the room, nothing to talk about at all. But lo and behold, on Sunday, Sunday, something shook the earth in Singapore.
But before that, how was your weekend, Terence?

**Terence** (1:29)
It was good. I went, I was away actually for a destination wedding in Australia. And I think, yeah, I was basically in the worst place in the world to catch the World Cup final, right? Which is a place that basically shuts down at 4 p.m. every day. No bars open, no restaurants open, not much buzz about football in Perth itself.
How about you? Where did you watch your World Cup final?

**Haresh** (1:53)
I watched it at a friend's place. And honestly, the World Cup was just fucking amazing. I'm glad that we have a chance to, you know, close it off before we dive into the news because, like, I know at the start of the World Cup, before the World Cup, I was thinking, should I subscribe and all? But I'm so thankful I subscribed because it reminded me of the power of not just football, but like world events like this to bring people together.
So I just loved it. I am still having withdrawal, but it was a great time.

**Terence** (2:19)
You say great time in general, right? Because the final was pretty shit.

**Haresh** (2:23)
Oh yeah, final was shit.

**Terence** (2:25)
You're saying great time, the whole World Cup was quite great, and it allowed you to connect with friends and have an excuse to be up early and everything, to meet up with friends and all.

**Haresh** (2:34)
And also, like, even if the final is shit, if you're watching with friends, then you make fun of the final. And before you character assassinate me and say, you were up while your wife was taking care of your child and all. The game was at 3am. Specifically, my daughter was sound asleep.
I did what I had to do before, she slept, bathed and all. Then in the morning, I woke up. She would not have noticed the difference.

**Terence** (2:54)
Two things. I didn't say anything. Two things. I didn't say anything at all. I don't know where that defense came from. It's like a preemptive resigning from your post.
That's the first thing. Second thing is giving instructions to a helper does not equate to you doing it yourself. No. It's just FYI.
