80+ Training Camp Storylines, All 32 Teams: The Full Fantasy Football Breakdown

We quote about how training camps are in the books, and we have so much news to cover. Jeff, we're not doing an intro. Let's just get right into it today. The Seattle Seahawks, the defending Super Bowl champions. We've got two stories we want to cover here. First of all, George Helani is getting reps with Judarium Price, both ahead of Emmanuel Wilson, according to ESPN's Brady Henderson. Additionally, we've got a report that Zach Charbonneau is a potential close call for week one per Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer. So I know everybody's paying close, close attention to this backfield. Given this news we got through the first week of training camp, how do you expect player values to change a little bit?

Are player values going to change a little bit? I'm not sure that they are. I think it's potentially, I think the ADP, we've had this news, I think, on Judarian Price for a couple of weeks now, that Judarian Price is not going to own the backfield, and his ADP hasn't really fallen out of where it was coming in earlier. We've seen Holani going at the back end of drafts. Zach Charbonneau is still kind of, maybe people are less hesitant now to take him than they were before. So, yeah, shifting slightly, but I think ADP hasn't moved the way that we would expect with Price.

Yeah, I mean, we get some micro movements here. It hasn't been anything drastic, but there is a lot of double counting this time of year. So, I think we knew that Zach Charbonneau was probably going to miss the start of the year, but then you get that Q next to his name on these drafts apps now, and you see him start to fall a little bit, and sure enough, I can see it, looking at the ADP visualization tool right now. It's nothing drastic, but Judarian Price has slipped about a quarter of a round, and Zach Charbonneau has slipped about half a round, so you do get a lot of double counting this time of year, and I think that that's going to be a common theme of this show, is things that we may have anticipated that the market did not, and I think this backfield is just kind of shaking out exactly how we expected it to, so George Helani is still a solid late round target for you zero running back drafters that need some early season value, but I'm not sure there's going to be a ton of utility late in the year for Helani.

Is this bad news on Charbonneau? I thought this was kind of good news that Jack Charbonneau was going to be there and be ready for close to week one and really ramping up. I mean, if you're taking Charbonneau, you're viewing him as a back half of the season hammer, but I think that the bigger the Helani involvement just goes into, they're going to be splitting the backfield even with a new offensive coordinator, new play caller in Brian Flory coming in. Not in this note, but Elijah Arroyo has generated a little bit of campus as well, deeper tight end play out of there. I think seeing if a second receiver can emerge out of this outside of Jackson Smith and Jigba, I think is an under discussed story line that I'm really curious to see.

So this is good news, Jeff, for people like us who have been plugged in and anticipated this to happen and saw that Zach Charbonneau was a little bit ahead of schedule. But like I said, it's literally just him opening up camp and not being 100 percent. He gets that cue next to his name on draft case, and that alone is what causes him to fall. So this is good news for Zach Charbonneau, but the market reacts the way that they shouldn't, and we see a lot of that this time of year. Kaishan Booty has been an early star at camp for ESPN's Mike Reese. And then AJ Brown dislocated his thumb, but isn't expected to be a long-term issue. So Jeff, I think this is probably like, we know how the backfield is going to shake out. We like Ramadre Stevenson and Trevion Henderson is going to come in for some touches here. We heard some struggles with pass blocking, but I don't think we need to dig into that too much. I think this wide receiver room here is fascinating because I tweeted out the other day that Kaishan Booty can just outscore Romeo Dobbs. And I don't think that ADP is even close to reflecting that possibility, or we're looking at almost a 10 round gap between those guys.
