Welcome to No Plunt and Tendon, presented by Club Fantasy. It is time for yet another Look Inside episode. If you have not been following along, we are doing an episode for each NFL team, breaking them down from a fantasy standpoint to see how we feel about them in the 2026 season. And it is time for The Los Angeles Rams. We have talked about so many offenses that are derivative of Sean McVay. Let's talk about Sean McVay's offense, and do we like it for fantasy?
Welcome to No Pun Tender, presented by Club Fantasy, Ryan Weiss in the host seat for yet another Look Inside. Josh, it's time to look at Sean McVeigh, Matt Stafford in those Los Angeles Rams.

**Josh** (1:02)
Yeah, I mean, this was one of the best offenses in the league last season. What goes up must come down, right?
I guess we're gonna find out.

**Ryan Weiss** (1:10)
I don't know, they've been good for quite a while, as Chris Molina will tell anybody who listens. They go 12 and five last year. Obviously, the Rams aren't making any changes until McVeigh retires. So Sean McVeigh is the play caller, Sean McVeigh is the head coach. Nothing is changing there. Before Josh and I talk about some of our favorite or maybe least favorite assets of this offense, let's talk about the ADP and the players. So here's the Rams projected starting offense and their ADP as of late July. Matthew Stafford is the quarterback. He's going off boards as the QB 14
Kyren Williams, Kyren Williams, however you pronounce it, RB 15 in fantasy right now. Blake Corum took a step up as the backup last year, RB 33 in fantasy. And of course, at wide receiver, Puka Nacua, taking over the world, but the wide receiver too in fantasy right now. Davante Adams, the wide receiver 25
Then you move to the tight end room. That's right, we're only talking about two receivers for the Rams. This is the first team we've ever done that for. But that's because we need to mention not one, not two, not three, but four tight ends. Colby Parkinson is the current tight end one, tight end 32 in fantasy. Terrance Ferguson, everybody's favorite, is the tight end 28 in fantasy. They draft Max Clair, he's the tight end 50 in fantasy. And they still have Tyler Higby, who is the tight end 64 in fantasy. And before you say certainly one of these guys will be cut, they carried four tight ends last year. Don't count on that. Josh, this is a good offense for fantasy football, but these motherfuckers are also old and we have to start getting a little concerned about Matthew Stafford, Davante Adams, and even Sean McVey. Are people gonna figure this offense out at some point and shut this thing down?

I mean, it doesn't seem like they're going to and that's a testament to McVey because he keeps evolving this offense.

**Ryan Weiss** (2:40)
I mean, they base it every week because every team is running it now.

**Josh** (2:44)
I mean, and that's the thing, is that he's finding new ways to get creative. Like last year, they saw an abundance of 13 personnel packages. Like they led the league, like tripled the next closest in 13 personnel packages, which going out and spending yet another second round pick on a tight end kind of tells you that they're going to do the same fucking thing again this year. And when you look at the wide receiver room, it makes sense because outside of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, they ain't got much people.

**Ryan Weiss** (3:16)
The cupboards there.

**Josh** (3:17)
So look for a lot of 13 personnel this year. Hell, they might trot out formations where it's four personnel and it's all tight ends and no wide receiver.

**Ryan Weiss** (3:29)
Heavy. They call that.

**Josh** (3:32)
But no, I mean, at the end of the day, what's not changing? Puka Nacua is going to see a ton of targets. Kyren Williams is going to score a bunch of touchdowns.
Could the efficiency go down 100% when you look at Matthew Stafford's career? He's thrown over 30 touchdown passes only three times, believe it or not. Every single time, he has been below 30 the next season. He threw 47 touchdowns last year.

Yeah.

The one thing I know what goes up must come down is what I'm saying.

**Ryan Weiss** (4:06)
The one thing I noted with this offense, though, is even when it comes down, it comes down to like 24, 25 And there are some teams out there that would pray for that many passes. No, 100%.
