Philly steals another player.

Another player from the Knicks Championship roster is gone. And surprise, surprise, the Philadelphia 76Ers are behind it. They already stole Ariel Hukporti, and now, they've stolen a two-time NBA champion.

Shoutout to Kyle Newbeck and Ian Begley, NBA insiders for giving us this following information. According to them, the Sixers are signing Dillon Jones to an Exhibit 10 contract. Dillon Jones, who Mike Brown leaned on for advice throughout the Knicks title run, has signed the camp deal with Philadelphia.

Jones and Ariel Hukporti could be back at the Garden with the Sixers on ring night.

Just to make sure we're all on the same page, this is exactly what an Exhibit 10 contract is.

Shout out to basketnews.com for giving us this information. According to them, by signing an Exhibit 10 deal, also known as a training camp deal, Dillon Jones is slated to compete for a potential two-way roster spot in Philadelphia ahead of this upcoming season. An Exhibit 10 deal is a non-guaranteed deal, and Jones, he could still potentially be waived, but Philadelphia, knowing how much they need more championship experience, will likely keep Jones on their team.

The 76ers are doing everything possible to ensure they win a championship. That includes signing players that have championship experience. Dillon Jones is on that list, that's why they signed him. Now, all of New York's two-way players from last season are unlikely to return for this upcoming season. Trey Jemison III, he's with the Raptors. Dillon Jones, he's with the 76ers. Kevin McCullar Jr. is too old and has too much of an injury history for New York to have confidence to re-sign him. All of New York's two-way roster spots are currently open. Nobody has been signed by New York at this point in time. They're waiting, they're biding their time, they're waiting to see which players are available, but also which players earn those roster spots. They're likely going to have a competition in training camp to see who earns that 14th roster spot, likely a big, another center, and which players earn those two-way roster spots. Now, one of those two-way spots, it's likely already filled by Knicks rookie Tyler Nichol. He wants to start his NBA career as soon as possible. And since New York is likely going to sign a veteran player for that 14th roster spot, that means that Tyler Nichol, the only way he can stay a part of this Knicks team, is if he's on a two-way contract. And I believe that's what's going to happen. But then that begs the question, what other players will the Knicks sign for those other two-way spots? In my opinion, it's going to be another center, and another big, probably a power forward. If I had to bet money on it, I'm thinking that Julian Reiss will get one of those two-way spots. His rebounding alone is one of the reasons why New York will sign him. But the Philadelphia 76ers, they are gearing up to win a championship. They just went all in on so many different players for this roster. They have about a two-year window until LeBron James leaves or retires. And if they don't win a championship in that time frame, they will be considered a failure. They don't want to be considered that. That's why they're signing any and all players that have playoff or championship experience. But one thing the 76ers don't seem to understand is, you cannot trade or sign for a championship. You can't do that. No matter what they want to do, what moves they want to do, they do not have the chemistry like the Knicks do, like other teams do. And no matter what you want to do, how you want to play, what sacrifices you want to make, in year one, with all of these players, all of this talent on that team, it's going to be near impossible to try to make that work so they can compete for a championship. LeBron James, he's too old already. He's not prime LeBron James, and he's not playing every game. Joellen Bede, do we really think Joellen Bede is going to be fully healthy for a season?
