Welcome to No Pun Intended, presented by Club Fantasy. It is time for yet another of our Look Inside series. This is a special season we do during the off season, where we cover each and every NFL team with their own episode, fantasy football focused. Today, we are still not quite to the 500 teams yet. We always go from worst to first. We're kinda stuck in the middle with the Indianapolis Colts, who are kinda stuck in the middle. There's just a lot going on with this team. They have some playmakers, but there's a lot of questions. Let's see if we can answer them.

I'm kind of actually excited to talk about the Colts a little bit because I feel like that Daniel Jones put this idea in people's head that the Colts are good and they can be good. And then he's going to remind everybody this year why he's Daniel Jones.

**Ryan Weiss** (1:39)
Exactly.

**Josh Hudson** (1:42)
It's going to be interesting. Let me tell you.

**Ryan Weiss** (1:44)
I agree. When you look at this team, not a lot of change from last season. They did go eight, nine. They did not change any coaches. Shane Steichen is that coach. He is also the same play caller. So same offense as we run this team back. And honestly, pretty much the same players with one notable absence. We are going to break down the starting lineup for you. I will let you know the underdog ADP as of June 25th, which is the day we are recording this episode. It may change by the time we get closer to your draft. But for the most part, it's pretty accurate. And even though it is best ball ADP, it tends to hold because these folks have money in the game. So they draft a little bit accurately.
The QB1 on this team, and there isn't much of a debate no matter how bad Daniel Jones is. He is going off of the boards as QB25 in Fantasy. Jonathan Taylor is the RB1 for the team, RB3 in Fantasy. DJ Giddens is his backup, RB75 in Fantasy, and they drafted Seth McGowan, RB92.
Wide receiver one is no longer Michael Pittman. He is now in Pittsburgh. Alec Pierce got the bag from the Colts. He is being projected as the wide receiver 37 in Fantasy. Josh Downs is the wide receiver 43 Ashton Doolin is the wide receiver 127
And Nick Westbrook-Ekene is the wide receiver 128 So we like the top two wide receivers in Fantasy. We don't like the next two wide receivers. However, this team found a diamond in the rough. Not really, they drafted him early, but a very good young tight end in Tyler Warren. He was an early draft pick last season. He had a great season last season. He is going off boards as the tight end four. Josh, we'll talk about some of our favorite players from this offense in just a moment.
But let's start with the offense itself. Shane Steichen, for the most part, has a fantasy-friendly offense, and it did look really good for, what, eight weeks with Daniel Jones, and then the wheels fell off at the same time that his wheel fell off.

Yeah, and that's really what this boils down to. I mean, this isn't a high passing volume offense by any means. Even when you go back to Shane Steichen in Philadelphia, they weren't throwing the football a ton.
Last, the two of the last three seasons in Indianapolis, they've been under 34 pass attempts. His years in Philadelphia, he was never over 32 pass attempts per game. So, you know, Daniel Jones, when he's actually playing pretty well, he's under 30 pass attempts per game. You talk about his hot start last year, it was all based on efficiency and big plays. He averaged less than 30 pass attempts per game last season. So, this offense operates with a ball control offense.
That's what Jonathan Taylor's for.

And the ability to hit on the big plays, which that's why Alec Pierce got the bag, because he's one of the best big play options in the NFL.
