No Joe Zello yet again this week, but you know, this is probably a good show for Joe to miss. Because Josh suggested we do something that I am very, very comfortable with. It's just a different day and time for me. We're doing a mock draft. We have spent the last four weeks telling you about all the values and busts for 16 rounds of a fantasy football draft. So I set the draft up for 16 rounds. We're gonna be here all fucking night. Let's get into it.

Well, I was doing great until I looked at the roster settings for this draft and found out you're making me draft a kicker and a defense. So right off the rip, fuck you.

Look, this is your fault because you let me just break this down and I'm gonna get the draft started because I don't want to make people wait too long. On the last episode for rounds 13 through 16, you said, would you take a defense or a kicker?

**Josh Hudson** (1:28)
That's fair.

We need to talk defense and kicker. So again, I'm gonna get into the settings. We're gonna do a lot of stuff, but I want to get this draft started right now. So bear with me a few seconds here, folks, while I get everything up on the screen. The first thing I like to do when I host a mock draft show, because we're not going to talk about every team. Anybody who's watched one of my shows before knows, we do not talk about every team. I'm gonna go ahead and start draft right now. This is a 12 team PPR draft. This is basically your home league. I gave everybody one minute to pick this draft. Me and Josh were originally going to run this draft with no other people. We figured why not throw it out to you folks. And this draft filled up very quickly. So I like to give a shout out right now to everybody who's drafting with us. We may talk about some of your players. We're unlikely to talk about your entire team. So we got Stephen George picking from the one, Joseph picking from the two, Frito Bandito, my favorite sleeper name, picking from the three, Lando Nice at the four, our buddy Jay picking from the five though, apparently in the chat, he's about to fall asleep.
Hefe at the six, Sehwad again at the seven, Jay Shady at the eight, Josh got the nine, I got the 10, Duarte got the 11 and Vince Mapstone got the 12 One thing I did to make this feel more like a real draft, I randomized the draft order. And some people didn't even realize you could do that on sleeper.
It's in the options when you create a mock draft. You scroll down a little bit on the app or on the PC and you're able to randomize draft order. So Josh, basically what we wanted to do with this episode was we have spent the last four episodes talking about the values in every single round of a draft. We had done our optimal draft strategy, but that was more about the actual draft strategy. Now we just want to see it in person. In that draft, we drafted against all bots. It's going to be a little different tonight.

So yeah, it's always fun when you're actually getting a chance to, you know, draft with a full league and you know, for as unpredictable as the quote bots on sleeper can be, they do have a really solid algorithm that does kind of help with the unpredictability of a home league.
And you know, shout out to everybody here in the draft, you know, coming from our different chats and stuff where, you know, we've had a chance to kind of talk to them over the years and stuff. So I'd like to think we're not going to have too many out of pocket draft picks, but you know what? That's the beauty of fantasy football. Everybody's going to love certain players a different way. Like, I would not be taking CMC at the 1-7, but Say What Again is not scared. So shout out, you know? I love it for him.
