Welcome to No Putt Intended, presented by Club Fantasy. It is another one of our special episodes, The Look Inside series. All summer long, we are breaking down each and every NFL team from a fantasy perspective, giving them their own quick 20 to 30 minute episode. And we are just about in the middle of last year standings. We are talking The Baltimore Ravens. For the first time in two decades, they got a new coach. A lot of the players are back, but this could be a very new Baltimore team, and it's time for us to take a look inside. Let's get into it.

It is our special Look Inside series, which means Ryan Weiss in the host seat, and the only person with me is Josh Hudson, because we're the only people who do projections here at Club Fantasy, at least they go on the airwaves. I was gonna say, shout out to Chris Molina. I know he works on them as well.
But right now, me and you are the only ones who go routinely on the airwaves to talk them out, so.

Oh, I'm sure Chris watches every episode. I'm sure I'll be getting a text message about that too, but I'm degradating his work at this point.

We appreciate you, obviously, unless you recently beat me in chess and then I don't like you.
Josh, we got the Baltimore Ravens up in and a weird year for the the AFC North.
All their coaches are gone, with the exception of Zach Taylor down in Cincinnati, and he should have been the first one. He should have been the first one fired. Baltimore goes eight and nine last year. Not a terrible year, but not a good one, not a typical Baltimore year. So they relieved John Harbaugh of his duties. Jesse Minter, the new head coach, defensive guy. So they are going with Declan Doyle as the offensive coordinator. He was the offensive coordinator for the Bears last year under Ben Johnson. I believe he was in Denver before that. I think last year was his first year as a coordinator. Josh, I'm gonna ask you a little bit about this Baltimore offense, but let's talk about the projected starters. First, when I reference ADP, we are talking about underdog ADP as of late June. Things could change by the time you do your draft, and obviously, best ball ADP is a little different from your redraft ADP, but it usually stays pretty close. Trust me. QB1 is Lamar Jackson. He's currently going off the boards as the QB2. No battle there. So we move on to RB1. That's Derrick Henry going off boards as the RB12. Backing him up is Justice Hill, RB69, nice. And Adam Randall, RB78, that is the rookie that Baltimore drafted this year. Wide receiver 1 is Zay Flowers. He is the wide receiver 15 in Fantasy. Rashod Bateman is going off boards as the wide receiver 94 Rookies Elijah Sarratt and Jacoby Lane bring up the 3 and the 4 Sarratt is the wide receiver 83 in Fantasy. Lane is the wide receiver 96 And then Mark Andrews is back at tight end. And we actually don't have competition to talk about because Isaiah likely is not back. Andrews going off the board as the tight end 12 Josh, whole new offense. Baltimore was one of those teams that we always joked about was pretty predictable because no matter what the head coach wanted to do, Harbaugh kept them in check.
We don't have that fail safe this year.

I remember texting you after I finished doing my projections and I said, this might be my least favorite team to project because quite honestly, I have no idea how to project this team. You're talking about, yeah, you're talking about a brand new offensive coordinator who has one year as an offensive coordinator under his belt, and he didn't even call plays.

Yeah.

So this kind of reminds me of when Mike McDaniel took over in Miami. Yeah. We all kind of assumed that it would be sort of lower passing volume, heavy on the run game because again, he was a run game coordinator. Shane Hann is usually pretty balanced with his offensive play calls.
Then they bring in Tyree Kill, they've got Jalen Waddle and it just became a freaking shootout. And it was nothing like what we thought it would be. Correct.
I kind of have a weird feeling. This is going to be a similar situation. Yes, he was the OC under Ben Johnson last year. So I think you're going to see a lot of influences from that going back to what Johnson did in Detroit, what he took with him to Chicago. But then Doyle also coached with Sean Payton, who Ben Johnson has influences from Sean Payton. So I think there's going to be some similarities to this. But Ben Johnson likes having dominant players in certain positions. Sean Payton wants a bunch of nobodies that can just get open. And you kind of see those similar seeds here when you look at how this team is structured. Like, yes, they have Zay Flowers. Zay Flowers doesn't fit any kind of mold of any wide receiver that Ben Johnson has or had or Sean Payton had. He is his own guy. So I'm very curious to see how Declan Doyle comes into this system and says, Zay Flowers, what are you going to do for me? Yeah, because right now I don't know.
