This is a special series we do all summer long, where each team gets their own episode, and we are on to the Jacksonville Jaguars. We finally, finally, finally saw Trevor Lawrence breakout last season. But as you do for regression, let's get into it.
Welcome to No Punt Intended presented by Club Fantasy. I am your host, Ryan Weiss, and this is the Look Inside series. Every team gets their own episode. We are breaking them down from a fantasy standpoint. I do projections, Josh Hudson does projections. He is my co-host. How you doing, Josh?

I'm doing good. This was a weird team to project because I think that there's a lot more question marks than last year. So I'm really curious to kind of talk through this team with you and figure out where we differ.

**Ryan Weiss** (1:17)
I love that they're basically bringing back the same team with changes, but there's more questions than last year. So let's get into that great season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. 13 and four last season. They're obviously bringing Liam Coen back. Liam Coen is also the play caller. Last year was his first year. Things went really well. I'm gonna break down the projected starting offense for you along with their ADPs from Underdog. And then we'll talk a little bit about this offense for Fantasy and a couple of our favorite players. So starting things off, Trevor Lawrence is the QB1. Going off of Fantasy Boards is the QB10. Right now at RB1, Trevor, excuse me, Travis Etienne, no longer in Jacksonville. Bhayshul Tuten, last year's rookie, is taking over. He is the RB25 in Fantasy. Chris Rodriguez comes over from Washington. He is the RB42. And another rookie from last year, LeQuint Allen, is the RB74.
At wide receiver one, on the depth chart right now, Brian Thomas Jr. He's the wide receiver 31 in Fantasy. Wide receiver two is Jakobi Meyers, the wide receiver 48
Wide receiver three on this team is Parker Washington. He's the wide receiver 33, so Fantasy drafters like the wide receiver three better. And let's not forget Travis Hunter. He's still here. Maybe he's a corner. Maybe he's a wide receiver. You can draft him as a wide receiver. He is the wide receiver 58 Breton Strange leads the tight end group, the tight end 18 in Fantasy.
So Josh, obviously we're going to talk about some players and you're going to talk about the player that makes this whole offense work or not work. But when you just look at overall the talent of this offense and your fantasy projections, what are your feelings on the Jaguars?

**Josh Hudson** (2:44)
So my two biggest takeaways are, one, this offense isn't changing from last year. I think anytime you have consistency when it comes to play callers, they have a certain way they want to do things and this is what they're going to do. But when you look at what Liam Coen did in 2024 with the Bucks, what he did last year with the Jaguars, it was literally the same damn thing. So again, don't really see this offense changing at all. But the second piece of this, the way this particular year they're structuring this team, god, it looks eerily similar to 2024 Tampa Bay, like especially the running back room.
So Bucky Irving comes in, gets drafted, ends up with a little over 200 carries, very similar in skill set to Bhayshul Tuten. Rashad White was the premier pass catcher. Oh, by the way, that's pretty much Laquint Allen's role.

Yep.

**Josh Hudson** (3:46)
Chris Rodriguez being an I can handle an early down workload sort of thing. That's pretty much Sean Tucker, right? This team isn't much different. Then you go to the wide receivers. Obviously, you had Mike Evans, Chris Godwin there, both those guys missed time as they were older. Brian Thomas Jr profiles very much into that. Mike Evans role is a big, tall, fast wide receiver.
The slot option, that was kind of Parker Washington last year.

Yeah.

But Jakobi Meyers can also play inside and outside. And we saw what Jalen McMillan was able to do his rookie season, scoring eight touchdowns is being able to fill in for Mike Evans, but also be in that third wide receiver. Those three guys at your top. I truthfully have no idea how this target share is going to get shuffled. But I know all three are going to be pretty good. So it might just make the most sense to draft the cheapest, which we'll talk about here in a little bit. And then Brenton Strayer sort of plays that K-dotting role. Like K-dotting popped that year because the veterans missed time, and that's where he found value. Brenton Strange isn't much different, but Strange saw close to five targets per game last year, if I'm not mistaken, played 12 games, had a little over 60 targets.
