And speaking of very good teams, this is an even more special episode of our special episodes, because my co-host, Josh Hudson, is an Eagles fan. It is time to break down the Philadelphia Eagles. Let's get into it.
Welcome to No Putt Intended, presented by Club Fantasy, Ryan Weiss in the host seat for another special episode. It is our Look Inside series. All summer long, we are breaking down each and every NFL team from a fantasy perspective, one episode, one team. And today, we look at the Philadelphia Eagles, which brings a smile to my co-host's face. Josh, you ready to talk about your team?

**Josh Hudson** (1:07)
I am. We were just talking before we hit record. I kind of went down a rabbit hole with this team because I'm really excited for what is expected to come with new offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion, because there's a lot of unknowns anytime you're dealing with a first-time play caller. What could it be? What are they taking from their last stop?
But Mannion was a former backup quarterback and played for a couple of different systems. So it's really interesting to kind of get a feel for what could be this season for the Eagles.

I also find it interesting. Mannion is along the path that we're seeing is a path of great success for the NFL right now. I'm going to say Cliff Kingsbury, better coordinator than he was a coach. Kellan Moore, good at both. Sean Mannion could be the next one. It's a backup quarterback who is now a coordinator in the NFL.
I'm interested to see when we look at your Eagles. Obviously, it was a nice year last year, 11 and 6, Nick Sirianni returns. But I believe, and you'll correct me if I'm wrong here, he handed off play calling last year anyway and then took it back. But he does bring in a new offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion, as Josh mentioned, formerly the Green Bay quarterbacks coach. He will be the play caller.
But Josh, I struggle to say that because it's still Sirianni's offense.

**Josh Hudson** (2:20)
No, it's not.
They're ripping this apart. This isn't like in years past where Stiken ran a version of Sirianni's offense, then Brian Johnson did that. Kellen Moore, you saw some of the passing game concepts that were typical for Kellen Moore, but it was still Sirianni's philosophy. They are completely ripping this up, and this is going to be Sean Mannion's system, scheme, everything.

Well, I kind of jumped the gun on that.
Let me read the offensive line up for the Philadelphia Eagles from a fantasy perspective, and then we can talk a little bit more about the offense. You kind of already got some good stuff in there. We are looking at the projected starters from a fantasy perspective, which means we will be talking ADP. That is coming from Underdog as of today, which is about the middle of July at quarterback one. It's Jalen Hurts. He's going off in fantasy dresses, the QB7. Saquon Barkley is the RB1. He's the RB7 in fantasy. Tank Bigsby is his backup RB51 in fantasy. At wide receiver, AJ Brown is now in New England. So DeVonta Smith is the wide receiver one. He is the wide receiver 12 in fantasy. Makai Lemon, the rookie out of USC, the wide receiver 35 Dontavian Wicks comes over from Green Bay. He is the wide receiver 77 And Hollywood Brown comes over from Kansas City. He is the wide receiver 109 Dallas Goddard is still starting tight end. He is tight end 15 in fantasy right now, but they did draft Eli Stowers widely regarded as the second best tight end in last year's draft.
The rookie is coming off boards as the tight end 31 So Josh, my notes were, I don't know how to blend these offenses, but I did want to point out Green Bay's offense also a very balanced offense. So I was hesitant to give this team a lot of passing. Give me your thoughts on this offense.

**Josh Hudson** (3:59)
Yeah, the first thing that I did was I wanted to look at Sean Mannion's history. So if you go back to his time as a backup quarterback in the NFL, he started his career with the Rams. And he played in those early years under Sean McVay. Now those early years were Jared Goff a quarterback, heavy doses of Todd Gurley, Cooper Cup Robert Woods. Those were the target trees. So there's your sort of like underlying like inspiration, so to speak, which again, also a version of the Kyle Shanahan system, which is where Matt LaFleur came from, which is where Mannion's been the last two years as a coach in the NFL. From there, he went and played in Minnesota. He was a backup under Kevin Stefanski. So we got heavy Dalvin Cook usage, we got high volume passing Kirk Cousins, and we got low target volume, Stefan Diggs, but high efficiency, right? So there's one another way you can look at it. But then was also there when Clint Kubiak came in and Justin Jefferson's rookie season saw 160 plus targets. So you're seeing a lot of different pieces here that Sean Mannion could ultimately take this offense. Now, do I think that DeVonta Smith is going to be Justin Jefferson 2 or Jackson Smith and Jigba?
