Welcome to No Putt Intended, presented by Club Fantasy. It is time for another episode of our Look Inside series. All summer long, we are breaking down each and every NFL team, giving them their own episode just to talk fantasy about that specific team. And it is time for The Green Bay Packers. Not a lot of changes in Green Bay, though they have let some superstar, star wide receivers walk. Definitely not superstar, because it's The Green Bay Packers. How do we feel about them for fantasy with this new wide receiver core? Let's get into it.
Welcome to No Pun Intended, presented by Club Fantasy, another special episode, Look Inside. Josh, Ryan, it's time to talk to Green Bay Packers. How are you doing today, Josh?

**Josh** (1:05)
It's a really interesting team for me. I want to think it's so much better than it's going to be, but then I go through and I look at all the numbers the last couple of years and everything, I'm like, hmm, this could be interesting.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:18)
I love that you said that. We'll get to it when we get to the first section of the show because that's kind of how my process went as well. When you look at the Packers, they did finish above 500 last year. They did have one of the NFL's few ties. They finished the year nine, seven and one. Obviously, no changes here. They made the playoffs. They played good football. Matt LaFleur is the coach. He is also the play caller. We're going to talk about the starting offense and their ADP. We are talking about underdog ADP as of early July. Jordan Love is the starting quarterback. Going off boards is the QB 18
Josh Jacobs is the starting running back. Going off boards is the RB 18 Josh, I'm going to just interrupt myself real quick here so that you know, when I was putting together the show sheet for this next week's of episodes, so many of these quarterbacks and running backs have like the exact same ADP. I thought I was making a mistake. It is very, very strange that we're just drafting the quarterback and the running back at the same section.
Back up to Josh Jacobs, Marshawn Lloyd is the RB 60 and then Chris Brooks is the RB 80 The wide receiver one, assuming he stays healthy, is Christian Watson. He's going off boards as the wide receiver 28 Jayden Reed at wide receiver 40 Matthew Golden, last year's rookie at wide receiver 49 Savion Williams steps into the fourth spot. He is going off boards as the wide receiver 110
Tucker Kraft was about to build a special season last year, got hurt. Fantasy drafters do not mind. He is going off the boards as tight end five. Josh, you had hit what I was going to say with this offense. And that is, it's a very run heavy offense, but it's a very run heavy offense now with worries at running back.
And then you look at Jordan Love's stats. He has stayed flat as a quarterback. And this offense is boring, plain and simple. We just shot an episode for the Carolina Panthers, and I said, Ted O'Rourke and Macmillan is the only player I want. Josh Tucker Kraft is the only player I want.

**Josh** (3:12)
I mean, I get it. Look, I'm a huge Tucker Kraft fan and we'll definitely talk about him in a little bit. But no, I mean, when you look at the history of of Matt LaFleur calling plays with the Packers. The last two seasons are the first years that he has averaged less than 30 pass attempts per game since he was the Titans offensive coordinator. So you're going all the way back to 2018 Now, of course, I mean, the first four years he was there, he had Aaron Rodgers, they're obviously going to throw the football. But Jordan Love's first year starting, they threw the football 34 times a game.
Now, all of a sudden, they bring in Josh Jacobs and then they jump from almost 26 rush attempts to game to almost 31 rush attempts per game in 2024

**SPEAKER_1** (3:56)
Yeah.

**Josh** (3:56)
And they still maintained a heavy run offense at 28.76 rush attempts per game.
So like, this is a team obviously that wants to run the football. But I also just don't understand why you're trying to take the ball out of Jordan Love's hands. Like he hasn't really shown that he's careless with the football.

**SPEAKER_1** (4:17)
Yeah.

**Josh** (4:17)
He makes somewhat decent decisions. Like he's above average starting NFL quarterback, in my opinion. But now you're taking essentially eight and a half targets per game away from this team by losing Romeo Dobbs, trading away Dontavian Wicks.
