A six-year-old their teacher directly in the chest in the classroom at school. This story is gonna be so much wilder than you think. It happened back in 2023, but just two days ago, all the court documents were released, and now we know the full details of what happened that day, what happened to his mother, the teacher, the principal of the school, and what went down, and why this is truly scary, because that kid is now just attending a different school and nothing really happened to the kid. I know he was only six years old, would you want your kid going to school with that kid? Absolutely not. So this happened in Newport News, Virginia. And this happened in a first grade classroom. The teacher was Abby Zwarner. So Abby Zwarner was just awarded $10 million for criminal negligence, because multiple people were warned that day at that school that that little boy, that six-year-old little boy, had a good backpack. Okay, he took it from his mom, Deja, and we're gonna get to Deja in a little bit.
She's everything that's wrong with parenthood. So Abby was his teacher, she's scolding him because he is acting crazy, okay? This is the third time that day already that kids have told teachers, multiple teachers, that he had a good backpack. They said that he searched his backpack, and there's no crap he found. But immediately right after that, he blast Abby in the chest, okay?
So how do you not check to see if a kid has a good backpack? Either it's in his backpack or it's on him personally. So there are only two possibilities. They don't have lockers at this age, there's no other place he could have hidden this thing.
And other kids knew about it, like tons of kids saw it. How can a lot of kids see it and the parents and teachers not know?
Abby gets shot, she evacuates the classroom, and even despite her injuries, she secures him. Now, she had to face six surgeries after this. It hit her directly in the chest. She was in critical condition and almost did not survive. But in the moment with her adrenaline going, she gets the kids out of there, she secures him, secures the weapon.
The police get there. When the police get there, she's collapsed. Another teacher is holding him, and I'm gonna show you some body cam footage because the kid had zero remorse. And you have to know that he learned this behavior from watching somebody at his household. So here's the footage.

Yeah, during that, he is threatening the police officers. He struck that teacher. I think the teacher's name was Miss Kovac, I believe. He struck that teacher multiple times while she was holding him.
This kid's, his mom, Deja, said he had a mental illness. It has been determined by the courts his only mental illness that he had was he might slightly be on the autism spectrum, like just slightly. But really ADHD is the only thing they could determine. He stole this weapon from his mother's purse while she was high, I guess, because she faced criminal marijuana charges, like after the police went to her house after this happens, I'm guessing she was high or had drugs on her, what have you. So she ended up going to jail for over three years. She is now released because I'm sure she got out early for good behavior, is out on probation or parole, whatever. But she got sentenced to almost four years in prison. The principal who was charged with the negligence that was told multiple times about this, but they failed to do a good enough search of this kid's personal space, his belongings, his persons, his backpack, whatever.
She, they had to pay out a $10 million lawsuit, but she was supposed to have eight counts of felony child neglect. They dismissed all of those. And I don't know why, because like, if I knew my child's principal was told by multiple children that another kid has a g*** there, and they didn't do anything about it, and then the teacher gets shot, and my kid could have potentially got shot, you best believe I am raising all the hell in the world there is to raise. But the most shocking part is, is I wanted to see what happened to this kid. Now, his identity has been non-released. I'm sure people find it, because the mom is very publicly like known.
They just moved him to a different school. Okay, guys, we have to start. They always say no child left behind, or we can't fail these kids and all this stuff. We gotta fail them. We gotta leave them behind sometimes. I hate to say that, but we do, okay? This kid, this was not his first incident. In the past, he had literally strangled a teacher, a six-year-old. He came up behind a teacher. This is a testimony in court. He came up behind another female teacher, grabbed her around the throat, and restricted her breathing. And she kinda had to get rough with him to get him off of her. And then almost faced backlash from kinda having to shove this little six-year-old kid because he was strangling her and then calling her a bitch. Like that's what she testified to in court. We have multiple violent outbursts from this one kid, and I know how kids are in the school system. Teachers really are powerless, and it's so wrong because we have so many little snowflake, softy parents that can't stand that their little angel is being told that their kid is bad, or that their kid is just freaking stupid or dumb. Like, we need to start being more realistic with people, okay? And we wouldn't have stuff like this happening. If he would have strangled a teacher, and then immediately gone, whoa, that's not okay, like what is he seeing at home? Let's intervene a little bit. He needs to be out of the classroom until we know this is in check. Maybe this wouldn't have happened, because these two events were not very far apart from each other. He had punched multiple other students before, he had slapped other kids, he had bitten kids. Like, this is a thing that was all testified in court of how violent he was. And now they won't say what school, obviously, but they just transferred him to another school. You best believe I would be pulling my kid out of that school so fast that your head would spin. Like, how are we okay with this? How are we okay with this? He didn't go to a psychiatric ward. He didn't, he's just in the care of his grandmother now, and go into a different school.
