6 Ways to Make Money With AI Agents Starting From Zero - Ep. #343

So here's the deal, about six weeks ago, I decided to stop chatting with AI, and just to start letting it work for me. Buy stuff, negotiate, build websites, fill out 82 contact forms at two o'clock in the morning. And then I kept a list of the stuff that actually made me money or saved me money. This is real stuff purchased with my own credit card. And today, I'm going to give you six businesses that you can start this week with one of these agents. Most of them are going to cost 20 bucks a month or nothing. And by the end of this video, you're going to know which agent to use for what type of task. And you're going to have the exact prompts that I use. And in just a minute, I'm going to show you the spreadsheet that has eight pool quotes that showed up while I slept. About half way through, I'm going to show you an $11 website that's sending me leads for a machine I've never even seen in person. And at the end, I'm going to show you the one setup where agents talk to agents. And I do nothing. I just watch computers talk to each other. And it's weird and I think is one of the biggest business opportunities in all of this video. So let's go. Okay, so way number one, and this is the one that saved me $50,000, literally one prompt. So we're trying to build a pool right now in the backyard. And I told my wife 10 quotes, babe, I want 10 quotes. And if you ever had a big project done around the house, you know that getting 10 quotes from contractors is like brain damage. It's really hard. Like you're going to have to reach out to 30 of them to get a quote from 15

And then you might only hear back from 10 of them. Maybe it's a pain, but the difference between 2 quotes and 10 quotes on a pool could be 50 or even $100,000. You guys know that pools like a nice pool can cost quarter million bucks right now. I don't have the money for that. We're not doing that. Okay.

So 10 quotes is worth the brain damage. So here's what we did for two weeks. Before I started using agents for this, AI agents, we talked to four pool companies. They all wanted to come out. One guy spent three and a half hours at my house, literally. And I'm like, bro, what are we doing? Take the measurements, we're good. And the other one's like, hey, okay, thanks for letting me come out. But come to my design center in Frisco, 45 minutes away.

And after two weeks and talking to four companies, we had zero quotes, not even a number, not even a ballpark number, which we kept asking for, by the way. So I opened up Muse, which is Meta's new agent, and I'm going to get to that in a sec. And this is the first real thing I'd ever told it to do. I said, find every single pool builder in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Here's my address. Here are the plans that I want. And yes, I use Claude for these plans. I don't know how to make plans. What are plans? I don't plan anything. Here's the survey to my house, because I knew from these first four yahoos that they were going to ask for that. Funny story, the survey is 10 years old. I couldn't even find it. It was in my inbox. So I connected my inbox and it went back and found it. It found the one without the house on it and with the house on it. And then I said, go to every company's website and fill out the contact form. And if they don't have one, then get their email and email them. And then I of course connected to my inbox, but I guess I already told you that. And then I gave it the message, or like a prompt for the message. Here's who I am. Here's my address. Here's the exact pool I want. Travertine decking, 35 by 18 feet, from three to seven feet deep. There's a 23 inch drop from the back of my house to the bottom of my backyard. Remember, I had gotten four quotes from people in person, so I kind of knew what they were doing and looking for. I wanted to remove all this friction. Here's a picture of my backyard. I know you want to come out. I get it. I own a business too. I'm just not ready for that yet. I'm still in the discovery phase. Don't want to hop on a call. I'm trying to save you time, save me time. Just want to ballpark. And I won't hold you to it. I know it's subject to change. I just need a starting point, because here's how this works. If I start with having 20 people come out to my house and wasting 40 hours of my time going to design centers, it's going to take me tens or hundreds of hours just to get five numbers. And then I got to look at their reviews. I got to call referrals. Are they a scam? How long do they take? But if I start with a price, then I can look at reviews, and then I can only waste like two or three companies' time actually coming out to my house or me going to their design center. Most people do it all wrong. They've got it reversed. So what I didn't say is, if you can't give me a quote with this much info, then you don't know what you're doing, because any real business owner can ballpark a quote. I mean, we have a business that builds sport courts in backyards. I have a tree trimming business.
