All right, how's it going, everybody? Thank you for stopping by. Today is Saturday, October 3, and Scott North of Kamua Capital and I are here to talk about what happened in junior mining this week. And we're basically just quickly going to run through the top three best and top three worst performers. I'm going to do that for the Canadian Stock Exchanges, and Scott's going to do that for the ASX. And as always, just off the bat, these are not stock picks. We haven't selected those. We're not promoting those. We're not paid to talk about those. I'm, again, we're not going to be doing a full analysis. None of that, no conclusions. This is just literally a quick overview of the best and the worst performers of the past week. Within a few parameters and those parameters, you can play with yourself for free on mininghub.com. Mining Hub is the sponsor of this weekly video, and they're the ones making it possible with the underlying technology. Scott, you weren't here last week, and I actually forgot to do a joke last week, just because you weren't here.
I hope you've prepared one, because you owe me a joke.
Scott (1:03)
Yeah, I've got one, and once again, I apologize, it's pretty crap, but what's the most important mineral in junior mining?
Antonio (1:13)
Hope?
Scott (1:15)
Liquidity.
Antonio (1:18)
Liquidium, someone's gonna make that up. Someone's gonna come up with that. Well, you say that coming from the ESX, but actually that should be a Canada joke, because the liquidity on the ESX is much higher than it is in Canada.
Jokes aside, it was a pretty nasty week for the metals, both gold and silver are down badly, and even copper took a beating this week, but there were still companies generating positive returns this weekend. That was part of my recent coverage at Beaver Creek, by the way. I asked 26, I believe, different companies whether there was something they could do if the market pulled back. It ended up being like a three-hour long video, so for people watching and listening, if you have nothing to do after this one, please watch it. And if you have something to do, please drop whatever it is and watch it anyway.
But yeah, some stocks did do well this weekend. Technically for us in Canada, I'm just going to start going over here, but the best performer is 5E Advanced Materials, but I'll actually skip that one because it's NASDAQ listed. And actually the first one that I'm going to cover here is Xcite Uranium. It's a uranium exploration company, multiple projects around Uranium City up in Northern Saskatchewan in Canada. It's up 30 percent this week in the back of news that they've started drilling at GoTrolls reporting anomalous radioactivity at one of their other targets.
Nine Mile Metals was the second best performer this week. This is a primary copper explorer. They've got a VMS project in the Bathrest mining camp of Northern New Brunswick. Stock is up 25 percent on the back of them globalizing a second drill rig to test seven deeper geophysical targets while drilling continued at a different target at the same time. Then third best was Bighorn Metals. That's an early stage exploration company. New name to me. They've got a copper and gold project in the Omaneco mining division. That's in Central British Columbia, again in Canada. All three of those are actually in Canada. It's about 40 kilometers south of the town of Smitters, which I actually visited last year. It's a pretty cool spot. This stock is up 22.7 so-called 23% this week. It actually had a big jump last week as well, but on nothing substantial, basically no news. Apparently, it's running on some online promotion that the company didn't pay for themselves. The Securities Commission asked them to clarify that in a news release, something that we unfortunately see coming back every week. Well, those are the best performers in Canada. Scott, what's going on down under?
Scott (3:47)
The first one for the week, we have Mamba Exploration. They come out on Friday with a $6 million raise. They picked up a new project and appointed some new advisors. They finished the week up 100% on very decent volume to 9.8 times with a 35 mil market cap. The second one for the week is Dateline Resources. They have the Coliseum Golden Railroads Project in California. They were up 74% on the week and they ended the week at a $441 million market cap. The last one for the week on the ASX is BOA Resources. They intersected some high-grade copper at depth at their Ricky Lee Project in Western Australia.
