I wanted to be an athlete. I made a fan made Nike commercial. I always knew I was gonna be an athlete. When I was a kid, I would lay on my floor and I would throw my ball up at the ceiling and I would see myself in Nike commercials with Michael Jordan.
I was 300 pounds in the music industry. I need you to understand that your dreams are already done. Time just hasn't caught up yet.

That's so fun because if there's something that lights your eyes up, it's for a reason. If there's something that makes your heart sing, it's for a reason. Maybe our dreams are written in the stars, and those little twinkles in our eyes and that little explosion of our heart is trying to talk to us. For example, if our dreams are written in the stars, let's think about, let's think about Oprah. So Oprah, she read a book, and it lit her up like a Christmas tree. It was called The Color Purple, and she just gave it to everybody. She just loved this book, and she heard that they were about to make a movie about it. She's never acted in her life. She's overweight. She's insecure. She wants to go to a fat camp. She wants to get ready to audition for this role. She auditions. Didn't hear from Steven Spielberg for two months. She thought she didn't get the role. She's going up against real actors, but she loved this book and she was obsessed over it. So she ended up going to a fat camp, thinking she wasn't good enough for this role. She needed to lose weight. She's at a fat camp. She's frustrated. She's running around the track in the rain, singing a song called I Surrender.
Somebody walks out of the building and says, Oprah, somebody's on the phone. His name is Steven. He wants to talk to you.
Oprah goes inside expecting bad news. Steven Spielberg said, I heard you're at a fat camp right now. She said, yeah. He said, if you lose one pound, you might lose this role.
She got the role. And guess what? It was written in the stars because the main character, her husband in the movie, guess what his name was?
Oprah, the main character of the movie, guess what her husband's name is in the book and the movie?
Harpo. So Oprah spelled backwards. When there's something that lights you up, it's for a reason. It's already done. Time hadn't caught up yet. There wasn't a chance in this universe that Oprah wasn't getting this role. It was like, this is a simulation. It was always meant for her. Her name is Oprah. The main character in the book was sexually abused. Oprah was sexually abused. It was like this entire story was written about her. Her husband's name was Harpo. It's Oprah spelled backwards. It was already done. When we have a dream and there's something that lights us up, it is done. It's just we have to be crazy enough to believe that we can do it. I walked away from a $15 million a year business to chase my dream of being an athlete. At the age of 29, as a 300 pound man, and my mom was wondering, how are you going to make money? Imagine walking away from your business and telling your business partners, I'm gonna be a Nike athlete. I did that. I was delusional enough to believe.
