Tiat (0:00)

The pull-up record right now is zero. So even if she just performs one pull-up as an 80-year-old woman, the record is hers.

And given that her PR is, I don't know, six or seven at this moment, I would say that it's almost a guarantee.

Charlotte (0:17)

And I realized that within a couple of years, I was doing things I never knew I could do before. Within four years, I did my first chin-up, and today, I'm doing many more pull-ups than before.

Tiat (0:30)

For us, we are practitioners.

We're certainly not theorists. When you talk about mechanisms, I will refer you to the doctors and the scientists. But as you can see from at least the Longevity World Cup, all four of us are ranked.

Siim Land (0:43)

All right. Today, we have a very interesting podcast, a special episode as well. We have the family from Singapore, who is, I think, pretty much one of the healthiest families in the world, especially in Singapore and East Asia.

So, yeah, why don't we start with maybe you giving a short round of introduction of what's your name, so it's easier for people to track who we're talking about. Maybe also what's your age and why do people consider you to be one of the healthiest people in Singapore? So maybe we can start with Lim.

Tiat (1:23)

Right. So, hi, I'm Tiat, de-aging guru. I'm the leader of Team De-aging in Singapore.

I am 54 years old, and joining us today will be my team members and family. My mom, Charlotte, my sister, Yan, as well as our very good friend, Melody. We are Team De-aging Singapore, and we'll let, I suppose, my mom do a self-introduction. You're up next, mom.

Yan (1:58)

Introduce yourself.

Charlotte (2:00)

I'm Charlotte. Some people call me Auntie Si, and others call me pull-up grandma.

I'm 80 years old. I'm trained by my son and daughter to be where I am today.

Yan (2:12)

I'm Yan. I'm 42 I'm co-owner of the gym with my brother.

My claim to fame is I'm an FMT donor, so people actually really eat my shit. I can go in detail later.

Siim Land (2:28)

Right.

Melody (2:33)

It's funny to me. My gym friends also call me the machine.

And, oops. I didn't know what else to say. So I've actually joined Bespoke Fitness since 2019 So I've known the Lim family for a long time, and I've kept pretty much the same workout routine as they do. And in terms of nutrition, pretty much the same as well.

Siim Land (2:59)

Yeah. Yeah. Thanks for sharing. So you have a pretty like a wide age difference, or like, you know, a wide range of age as well. So, you know, it just highlights how having a kind of a consistent plan or just a structured plan, you know, can work at the different ages. And one of the like, I guess, more interesting things about, or what people know about you a lot more online is that Tiat, you were also ranked, I think number one in the Lingerie World Cup at some point, if I'm not mistaken.

And your mother as well is quite high in the rankings. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, she has like some Guinness pull up record as well for her age. Is that correct?

Tiat (3:44)

Well, not yet, but we will be attempting two Guinness records this year, one for Dead Hang and the other one for Pull Up.

A Pull Up record right now is zero. So even if she just performs one Pull Up as an 80 year old woman, the record is hers. And given that her PR is, I don't know, six or seven at this moment, I would say that it's almost a guarantee. And then for Dead Hang, the current record is, I think roughly three minutes if I'm not wrong, for a woman over 80 or something like that. And my mom's record set last year at a competition was four minutes and 15 seconds. So even if she just does four minutes, that will also be a new Guinness World Record.

Siim Land (4:40)

Yeah, that's quite remarkable for, as you said, zero is the current record. So even if she does one, then that already makes her succeed. So about six, seven is a very significant number. Even like 20-year-old fit women, it's very rare for a female to do six, seven pull-ups at even 20 years old, not to mention 80 years old. So yeah, what's the like the back story? What made you, I guess, to start your program and what made, how did you motivate your mother and other people to join the program here?
