College football is back, so Hilton called on me, the superstition concierge, to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? We got you. Wanna make sure our team doesn't wash your lucky jersey? Oh, that smells lucky.
Hilton's unmatched hospitality can keep up with any superstition. Even a marching band wake up call at 555 in 55 seconds. Hit it! When you need a team that will do whatever it takes on game day, it matters where you stay. Hilton, for the stay.

What's up, Chuckers? Producer Mike here. The tour is in Asia. Half the top 10 is hurt and the other half is arguing about how many sets they should play. But before we get to that, as always, please hit subscribe on YouTube and give us a follow on your favorite podcast platform so you can stay up to date on all things Served. We really appreciate the love and support. That said, today is October 2nd, 2026, and here's what we've got for you. Emma Navarro shuts it down. A Japanese legend says goodbye in Tokyo. Eala's latest win could be costly and big news from the players in the Grand Slams. Up first.
For set number one, we go back to where we left you two weeks ago, the world number one in his right knee. Jannik Sinner hasn't played since the Wimbledon final on July 12th. That knee cost him the whole American summer, the US Open and last week his Beijing title defense. His words were quote, my knee is not where I'd like it to be. So all eyes are now on Shanghai, which starts October 7th and runs through the 18th.
Well, at the time of this recording, still crickets. His team told Sky Sports Italia that the call was coming on Thursday after one last round of tests. No call just yet as we continue to wait. If he goes, he has just 50 points to defend. If he doesn't, his next stop will be Vienna on October 26th. We will have an update on our socials the second it drops.
So now the question is, where does one Zverev stand on his race to number one? Two weeks ago, the gap was about 1800 points. Sinner just dropped 500 from Beijing, so it is down to roughly 1300 Regardless, Zverev is in a position to control his own destiny. If he wins Beijing and wins Shanghai, we will most likely see the 30th world number one in ATP Tour history before the end of October.
Now, on to set number two, and this one is a lot bigger than a knee. Emma Navarro is officially done for 2026, and on Wednesday night, she told us exactly why. The 25-year-old American posted a long statement on Instagram that she is shutting it down to deal with two diagnoses, red S, which is relative energy deficiency in sport, as well as Hashimoto's disease. In plain English, for three years, her body wasn't getting enough fuel for what she was asking it to do. Constant hunger, constant illness, headaches, dizziness. Navarro played 88 matches through 2025 before doctors put a name to it last November. If you haven't had a chance to read Emma's carousel statement over on Instagram, I suggest you go take a read. But one of the lines that stuck out to me is she said, I have learned that there is no weight on the scale or leanness in your limbs that is more valuable than your health or your well-being. This is not a sad story, Chuckers. She says she finally feels like herself again. She won Strasburg this year and ran to the US Open quarterfinals last month. Her target return is the Australian Open in January. I think I can say this from all of us here at Served, get healthy Emma, stay healthy, and we will see you in Melbourne.
