Do you ever like, I know that like the players say, yeah, we don't listen to the media, but you flip on the TV, see what Stephen A has to say, or people like that. Do you pay attention to some of that stuff?

Renardo Green (2:21)

Nah, I may see it here and there when I'm watching like Sports Center or something like that, but I don't do too much to get in all that. I just skim through it, flip the channel.

Markus Boucher (2:31)

Well, Renardo, this offseason, there was a lot of talk about the Seahawks and the Rams and the NFC West, but we're now five weeks into the season. You guys are five and 0, got a two-game lead into division. So what can you tell us about the start of the season and maybe ignoring some of that outside noise and showing up in the first five weeks of the season?

Renardo Green (2:51)

Our whole mindset is we play our style of play. We play our style of football. We don't too much focus on what they got to say, what they like the underdog to be, who, you know, like all that don't really matter. Because when we step inside the white lines, any given Sunday, anything can happen. So we just focus on us and what we do. We set the standard, we set the pace, we set the tempo, and we go play our game without worrying about the outcome. And with that approach and mindset, we've been able to, you know, be five and oh and be one of the only still undefeated teams in the NFL.

Brian Murphy (3:29)

That's a great answer. And it sounds like a championship mindset. So I know you're talking about the whole team, but I want to ask specifically about the D backroom. And cause you guys are young. I mean, whether it's you or Demo Lenore or Malik Mustafa or Jair Brown or Upton Stout or Marquis Siegel. I know Jack Jones is there too, but you guys are young.

And I'm old enough to remember the 49ers when they had Ronnie Lott. Like he was the wise voice in the room. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So who's the, is there a leader in that group?

Is it Demo? Cause he's kind of the captain, you know, he's one of the captains or who sets that mindset for the DBs?
