Remember how exciting it was to find a dollar on the ground as a kid? Well, it turns out you never really outgrow that special feeling. Although for adjusting for inflation, I think I'd prefer a crisp Hamilton. Alexander Hamilton. Now as an adult, the small stuff still hits different, and sometimes it's those little things that make you feel a little richer. So today, we're going to cover a list of 49 little things that make you feel wealthy and give you that financial dopamine hit that gets you through the week. Because in this economy, we could all use a little more joy. But first, let's give a warm hug to DeleteMe for sponsoring this channel.

Listen, if you don't have an emotional support DeleteMe mug, you're doing it wrong. All right, number one, checking your bank account after your paycheck hits. Now, I get paid twice a month on Fridays, and there's no better feeling than waking up. And it is like Christmas morning, and you check the banking app and you go, let's go baby, Friday is going to hit different today. I'm rich. Number two, finding a sale on something you actually need. I ain't paying full price if I don't have to. And when I actually needed it and it was 20 percent off, chef's kiss. Number three, paying off a debt. Freeing up that payment is such a good feeling to have that money back in your life for good. Number four, watching the coupons apply in real time at the grocery store checkout. Let me tell you, a Kroger, a Publix, when I start handing over those coupons or I see the digital one start popping in, I'm like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. You saved $38 at Kroger today.

Baller.

Number five, getting money in a birthday card. This is so rare these days that when it happens, I'm so grateful. Now the card is sweet on its own, but the money is a really nice touch.

Shout out to grandmas everywhere who are still doing this. Number six, when you get to a restaurant and you find out it's still Happy Hour pricing and you weren't even trying to go for Happy Hour. So now you're ordering the drinks, the apps, and you're going, oh my gosh, it's half off the Margs, baby. Let's go. And the mozzarella sticks. And the mozzarella sticks. Where do they have, what are we at, chilies all of a sudden? Who has mozzarella sticks and margaritas? The wild combination. Number seven, when someone shares their subscription login with you. Listen, when you find that person, that's a true friend. That's true love. Don't let that go. Number eight, finding a gift card that you forgot about. Now, I have a little baggie of gift cards that I keep in my vehicle and in my home. That way, whenever I'm like, you know what, I don't want to spend money today. Let's do a little gift card roulette, if you will. And I'll just find a gift card and go, let's go shopping. And then you find out it only has like a dollar and two cents on it, so you still have to pay. That part sucks. Let's focus on the joy. Number nine, returning something online and they tell you to keep the item and give you a refund. Now this happens on Amazon sometimes. It's a small item that doesn't cost a lot and it's actually more work to return to get back to them to then give you a refund. They just say, just keep it.

That's a real treat. I appreciate that.

Thank you to the random Amazon sellers. We're good people. Number 10, Publix Bogo. Now I'm not at a latest and I know Publix is an expensive place to shop, but you cannot beat their Bogo pricing. And here in Tennessee, you don't even have to get two items. It's not buy one, get one free. It's just buy one, get one half off.

And I appreciate that. I go to Publix and I go hard in the paint on the Bogo.

Catch me outside. How about that? Number 11, getting the notification that you have a free reward. Now sometimes this is because you spent enough that you hit a limit that they give you the reward. Sometimes they just want to bless you and get you back into the store to hopefully spend some more money. But either way, Starbucks, Cava, Chick-fil-A, whatever it may be, bless your ministry. Number 12, overpaying on your escrow and getting a refund. Now if you have a mortgage, you know that an escrow is holding your property taxes and insurance, but it's kind of hard to get right sometimes. And sometimes you've overpaid for the year and they send you a check back and go, here you go, free money, baby. It's not really free, but it feels like that. Not money you planned for, so be grateful. Number 13, getting a 20 cent per gallon fuel discount. Shout out to Kroger. I know not a lot of places do this, but some places you spend enough money at the grocery store and they go, hey, you got 20 cents off per gallon of this fill up, and you are like, baby, let's go all the way past the F. Doesn't that feel good when you fill up the tank and you turn it back on and you're like, how will we be on full?
