Drafting the right players on the right teams at the right ADPs is crucial in fantasy football, and it's going to be crucial again in 2026
On our last episode, I was joined by Kevin Szafraniec. We talked through the NFC West and some of the different position groups or players on those specific teams, how it would affect if you should be drafting them or not in 2026 Today, we're going to do a very similar exercise on the AFC South. Kevin has been breaking down the divisions and the teams in those divisions so far through the NFC West and the AFC South. There'll be much more coming through out the course of the next couple of weeks, so be sure to check those out. But today, it is the AFC South, and I want to kick it off with a team that again, last season started off extremely hot. Unfortunately, then Daniel Jones got injured. The wheels really did come off. Jones, looking to be healthy for the start of this season. And I am going to start off because we're going to talk about the wide receivers on the Colts because I do think that's very interesting. But I want to start off with a question that I think impacts what we then talk about what the wide receivers and that is one Tyler Warren in terms of what do we think the ceiling is this season. So we see now he kicked things off last year again, a bit like the team kicked it off and really broke out early on. But as we look to step forward now and move forward, what do we think the case is for Tyler Warren? Because that's always going to impact what we think of, what the rest of this roster can go ahead and do.

Yeah, I'm really excited about Warren this year.
Just for the fact that I think he's going to be the top target on the team. He was last year. That's not like a huge reach to say he even outpaced Michael Pittman as far as targets last year on the team. So it's not a huge, huge reach to say he's going to do the same thing again this year, especially we were, I mean, don't want to get too far into the talk about the wide receivers, but you know, they're essentially just, you know, kind of, they're still kind of a mystery box as far as what we're going to get from these guys. But Tyler Warren, I feel like we're, we kind of know what we're going to get from at least. And you did mention, you know, his production pretty much cratered once Daniel Jones went out. But at the same time, like his volume didn't, it's just, you know, he just wasn't as good. So.

Yeah. And you know, you've, you know, it's like, you almost feel like that day would be kind of like Philip Rivers' wheelhouse, as he's however old he was, 45 or 50, or however old he was when he played last year. Yeah. So you feel like, oh, maybe dumping down a Tyler Warren would have made more sense. But whatever for whatever reason fell off dramatically.
But I feel like even like I feel like Daniel Jones is also kind of a mystery. This year, I kind of go through that in the article as well. I he's not I've always remained skeptical of Daniel Jones. And I think there's legitimate reasons beyond my my own personal feelings towards him to be skeptical of him this year. But even if for some reason, like Jones doesn't, you know, play the whole season, I feel like a lot of that those inconsistencies will hopefully level out this year. So even, you know, not say Warren would be like QB proof. But at the same time, I feel like it'd be just wild if if you know, he saw that same sort of like solid efficiency early in the year and just terrible efficiency over the second half of the year.
