I want all of you to take a moment, close your eyes, and think of the best sporting event that you've ever attended. That instead of just sitting on your couch watching on television, you actually went to the game. For me, I was in college, Steph Curry Davidson was playing the NCAA tournament against Georgetown in Raleigh. It was like, Patrick Ewing Jr., all these like 6'11 guys versus Steph Curry and these 6'7 dudes. And I was like, I have to go see this. I have to go see the guy that is launching shots from half court, even if they have no chance to win. And guess what? They won. And it was so much better because I was actually there versus sitting at home. And you can be there in the action by using game time. College football is coming up, NFL preseason to watch your favorite rookies. It's all available here on game time. It's not just that, like I am scrolling to see what is available this weekend in my area.
I can go see Hillary Duff if I want to or the dirty GovNas. I mean, whatever you want, it's here on game time. So get your friends together, get your tickets and tell them it's game time. Download, yes, the game time app, create an account and use code fantasy for $20 off your first purchase. Terms apply.
Again, create an account and redeem the code F-A-N-T-A-S-Y for $20 off. Find college football and NFL matchups on game time and download the app today.
Oh, yes, we are so back. Welcome to the flagship show. Yes, this is Stats vs. Film. As you know, we go and watch all 16 games from the weekend. Look at the underperformers and most importantly, your weekly winners. And compare that to the stats, the spreadsheets, the analytics, the underlying metrics in the hopes of helping you bully your league mates and your friends here in week two. And boy, have we leveled up this year. Obviously, we have Hayden Winks joining for all 32 teams, just like normal.
But the addition, yes, the big man himself, Matt Harmon joins us for the first half of this episode. Matt, welcome to the party.
Matt Harmon (3:36)
Boys, it's good to be here.
This is one of the best, if not certainly the most ambitious shows in the fantasy space. So I am very excited to be a part of it this year. I've listened to it, I've watched it before, and now I'm getting to be a part of it. So I'm very excited to chop it up with you guys.
Hayden Winks (3:52)
Also very excited that you're here.
Josh Norris (3:54)
Throw you in the deep end.
Hayden Winks (3:55)
Josh, I was going to say, the one thing big picture-wise heading into this week is already you feel the difference between the good teams and the bad teams. And that's concerning because typically we get that, like week eight or so, the fact that we're already there on about three or four of these teams in week one is not good.
Josh Norris (4:14)
And something we'll hit on during this is so many new quarterback and play caller tandems, some of them hit the ground running, and let's say many of them did not. And we'll see if that improves in week two and week three as we go along. For everyone out there, we start with about 10 headline teams and the biggest talking points, either injuries or, let's say, depth charts and changes for new starters. And then we'll go to alphabetical order after that. So if you're new around here, hit subscribe. We do this every single Tuesday. We're gonna try to do it live every single week at six o'clock Eastern. So we kick things off with the prime times games that we missed on our Sunday night recap show. The Kansas City Chiefs, only one place to begin here, Hayden.
