Hey, welcome back to the channel, my name is Siim Land, and today we talk about Crump. So what is Crump? It's a hemp-based meat alternative that I helped to launch and co-found. We're gonna talk about what is Crump, what are the ingredients, how it's made, and the macros, micros, all the details about this kind of plant-based protein, the reasons why I decided to launch it, and where can you get it?

So, as I said, Crump is this plant-based meat alternative made of only hemp and pea proteins. And to be fully transparent, like, I did invest into the company, I helped to launch it with my own money. I've invested over 50,000 euros into it to help to kickstart this product. And the reason for that is that I'm just, you know, I believe that this product can be the number one plant-based product, number one plant-based protein in the world. And it's going to replace all the Beyond Burgers, the soy burgers, all that garbage, all that unhealthy plant-based products that are out there right now. And obviously, I'm not like a full vegan, but I do think that there needs to be a shift in, like, the products that plant-based people consume, especially plant-based proteins. And that is the reason why I help to kickstart, and that's why I reason I invested into this company and helped to launch it. Obviously, you can have your own, let's say, beliefs about protein or food or diets, whatever. You can be carnivore kid or vegan, paleo, whatever it is.

But I think it's, you know, not really productive to always, like, argue about which diet is the best, which food is the best, how much meat should you eat, how much plant should you eat. And much rather, I would rather focus on actually giving solutions. I want to focus on creating solutions that are actually healthy, that are actually, you know, help to replace some other unhealthy foods out there, like the Beyond Burgers and Soyburgers, whatever it is, to just, you know, have people the availability to have access to a clean and healthy food that doesn't, you know, come with all these added inflammatory oils, fats, and, you know, sugars and other unwanted ingredients that you get from there. So that's the reason why I started to help launch this, and that's why I invested so much money into it as well. Like out of my own pocket, 50,000 euros is not, you know, is not a piece of change, and all the money that is going to be invested into the launch of this campaign and the product and to help scale up the company itself, to help basically spread this product, Crump, to, you know, supermarkets, restaurants, different kinds of people all across the world. So as I said, the only ingredients in Crump are hemp protein, hemp flour, and pea protein. So just two products or two ingredients. They're 80% hemp and 20% peas. So it's no other ingredients. It's literally just two ingredients. And you can consider it a whole food in the sense that it's 100% natural, and it's just, you know, freeze dried into this granule that actually takes, you know, the technology hasn't been able to achieve this particular result yet only recently in Estonia, where this product is manufactured and produced, is where this technology has been actually been able to achieve, to create this specific type of granule that you don't need to add like any other like added fats or oils into it. So it's just 100% organic, natural ingredients, and only two clean ingredients. What is the macros and the like nutritional value of it? So the nutritional value is actually pretty damn amazing for a plant-based protein. So per 100 grams, you're going to get 3.6 grams of fat, 334 calories, 0.5 grams of saturated fat, trans fats, zero total carbs, 16.1, sugars 3.3, dietary fiber 11.9, and protein 53.6, salt one gram.

So as you can see, the protein amount is quite amazing. Like it's twice the amount of protein per 100 grams than regular beef or meat, and maybe like three times more protein than soy and these other usually considered high-protein plant-based foods. So in terms of macros, it's like excellent. It's very good. The only sugars that it comes from is the natural sugars from the hemp and peas, and it's high in fiber, low in fat, high in protein, and I would consider it quite like a perfect macros for a plant-based protein. How do you make it? Well, I'll play this gif here. It's very simple. You add, you have this dry granule from the package. You put it into a bowl. You add the water, let it sit there, preferably like some lukewarm water tends to moisturize it better. It sits there for like five, maybe three minutes or something like that, preferably five, and then you just cook it in some dishes, like some pasta, bolognese, tortillas, burritos. It really does a good job in replacing ground beef. So the main goal is to use it as ground beef, the same way you use ground beef.
