So, there's a new documentary that's coming out on Elizabeth Holmes. Rarely have I watched a trailer for a documentary, and known within the first five seconds, I'm going to watch the documentary.
Watch how crazy this bitch looks. Just watch this.
Deric Poston (0:28)
person, I can promise you that. I don't have anything to deceive you on. Of course, I'm not deceiving you. I'm engaging with you as a human being. Why would I deceive you?
There's no reason for me to do that.
Joe Rogan (0:56)
All right.
Deric Poston (0:58)
Okay, good shot.
Ehsan Ahmad (1:30)
Oh, she's the president of the Lindsay Clancy fan club. Oh, yeah.
Joe Rogan (1:34)
I mean, she is completely out of it. Bro. Or like, you could like see her like calculating the right moves to make in her face. It's crazy.
Deric Poston (1:45)
I don't think she blinked. That was terrifying.
The wide shot when she's rocking her kid. Joe, that was terrifying.
Joe Rogan (1:55)
Oh, no, it's the baby crying at the beginning. When you realize there's a baby in there, her eyes are so big. I know.
Ehsan Ahmad (2:01)
They're so big. Like that's, you see all of the pupil.
You see all of, you know, you see the whole eyeball and the white all around it. That's kind of weird.
Joe Rogan (2:11)
It does look like a snake almost, just like eyeing down, like what will it take to eat you? Yes, exactly.
Ehsan Ahmad (2:19)
Something that came out of the Garden of Eden. Good Lord.
Good Lord.
Joe Rogan (2:24)
Deric, do you know who Elizabeth Holmes is? Who is this monster? Okay.
Ehsan Ahmad (2:27)
Oh, thank you.
So, there was a company called Theranos, and Theranos was a completely scam company made by this woman, and she dropped out of college to create this company. This is a blood testing company, and they can test your blood by just pricking your finger. Just get a little bit of drop of blood, instead of getting a big draw, like they have to do it. And so they set them up at all these Walgreens, and it was going to be this huge thing. And she used to wear a black turtleneck and talk like Steve Jobs. Not only that, she changed her voice, okay? She changed her voice to sound more like a man. We'll get to that later. So anyway, this company, I mean, who knows how many people used their product, and it didn't work at all. Like literally didn't work at all. So all these people that got blood tests from it and thought, oh good, no cancer. Oh good, don't have to worry about my cholesterol. Oh good, don't have to worry about my, but it's all fake. It was all fake. So she was the richest self-made woman ever. She was worth like $9 billion at one point.
And then someone from the company is like a whistleblower, I think it starts it off. And then they started investigating. And then they realized like, there's nothing here. Like the whole company is completely full of shit. It never worked. It never worked at all. Like the blood testing, they used to have to get actual blood on top of the little prick. The only way they could really test you is to do it the old fashioned way and pretend that there was something wrong with the machine or something. We're going to recalibrate this, but don't worry, we got this. And so they would just get regular blood, like normal, like they take it out with an IV. The whole thing was a scam. And it took like a long time because no one wanted to believe because they had this narrative in their head. But this woman who looked like Steve Jobs, the other thing, girls that went to college with her, was like, hey, that's not her voice.
Deric Poston (4:10)
Oh my goodness.
Ehsan Ahmad (4:12)
How she talks there in that video, of course I'm not trying to deceive you. Now I want you to see how she talked when she was talking at these conferences. So she would give these speeches about how powerful it is to be like a strong woman and all this crazy shit, you know, like a woman in business and that kind of stuff. And she's talking like she smoked a hundred cigarettes a day for a thousand years. She's talking like a dude. She's talking like someone's in transition, they're taking testosterone. Like, listen to this. And a woman.
