You might be the number one guy who I see in clips, like constantly getting in arguments with people online.

I'm not sure that there is anybody who takes on more debates yearly, high and low profile than I do.

Yeah, I mean, even casual ones.

It's like you're always sparring. It's like you're always, you know, you're always having scrimmages.

Keeps you sharp. So I also have this rule that, you know, there's like the clout game online, right? All these people want to play the clout game.

That's like, you have, you don't have a big enough follower account for me to respond to you. You don't have a big enough audience for me to discuss things with you, you know, things like that. And it's like, I hate that.

That seems pretty silly.

It is silly. And some of the best debates I've ever had with guys who had like four followers on X and they're like, let's get on this X space and talk. And I'll hop in there with them. And I'm like, an hour later, I go, man, I had a lot of good stuff to say.

A lot of people out there.
And oftentimes, those are the ones who don't have a lot of followers, because they're not sucked into the social media web. They're just out there thinking and doing things, living their life. There are a lot of fucking interesting people out there that you never hear from. And a lot of not interesting people that you hear from constantly.

It's like the politician thing, you know? It's like we were talking about that the other day. Like there's this lady that's running for something. She's running for governor of Wisconsin. Is that what it is? And she was just talking about how Thanksgiving hurts people.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know her background. I think it's the same lady at one point in time. She was in a mental institution.

Why does this not shock me?

Doesn't shock me. But this was the point. We were saying nobody wants to be the fucking governor. And the people that do are, there's a high percentage of kooks.

Yeah, power attracts strange people. Sometimes it attracts good people. Yes, occasionally. And often, but often those are the people who go in and they want to change it.
Like the idea that they have is, look, I'm trying to run for the right reasons because I actually want to change how this works. But they're few and far between.

And they get killed.

**Andrew Wilson** (2:40)
A lot of them get killed or they get run off. A lot of them just get involved in like their normal day-to-day life from 20 years prior. Now suddenly that's coming up and they have to defend themselves against criticisms that they never would have believed that they would have to defend themselves from.
And so character assassination, I think, takes a lot of the good actors out. They don't want to deal with the character assassination.

Well it seems like they want total compliance on both sides, on both parties. Total compliance with the party. And if they think that you're going to be some outsider rebel that's going to take over, that's going to fuck you.

**Andrew Wilson** (3:18)
Well you kind of, I think you kind of have to have that a little bit though because if you got universal suffrage, necessarily everything converges into a two-party system. So as suffrage expanded throughout history, you saw the emergence of parties right alongside of it. There's more people became enfranchised to vote.

So you think if women couldn't vote, there wouldn't be parties?

**Andrew Wilson** (3:39)
There probably would still be parties. It would probably still be a two-party system. It's just that how it works is that if we continuously expand suffrage, let's just say we expand it to another group of men.
