Joe Rogan Podcast, check it out. The Joe Rogan Experience.

RZA (0:06)

Trained by day, Joe Rogan Podcast by night, all day.

Jamie (0:12)

We're up. So the guy that did your bar, Flying Guillotine, is the same guy that did The Mothership.

Joe Rogan (0:19)

Oh wow.

Jamie (0:20)

Richard Weiss.

Joe Rogan (0:21)

Yeah, Richard, yeah.

Jamie (0:21)

Yeah, Richard, the same designer, architect, who did your bar. I have a Flying Guillotine T-shirt that I wear sometimes. I was trying to find it this morning. I couldn't fucking find it.

Joe Rogan (0:30)

I wore mine yesterday. I went to the Alamo Draft House and did a screening of the film. And I said, would it be appropriate to wear my Staten Island Alamo Draft House to them? And the guy there, he was like, he wanted to wear his, but because he stole a stack from Staten Island, but he couldn't find them all.

The Flying Guillotine.

Jamie (0:51)

I've got it somewhere. I've got it somewhere in my house. And I was scrambling this morning looking for it, looking for that T-shirt. Couldn't find it.

Joe Rogan (0:57)

Well, we got to send you some more.

Jamie (0:59)

Definitely, definitely. So, it's great to see you again, man.

Joe Rogan (1:03)

Back at you, man. Back at you. Just like, I got questions for you.

Jamie (1:08)

What do you got?

Joe Rogan (1:09)

Well, I was thinking, like, well, remember you had this place in Woodland Hills?

Jamie (1:14)

Yes.

Joe Rogan (1:14)

That was, what, eight years now?

Jamie (1:16)

We've been out here for six, six years.

Joe Rogan (1:18)

So about six years ago.

Jamie (1:19)

You were there like eight years ago, I think.

Joe Rogan (1:21)

Yeah. And I just remembered you having the hyperbolic.

Jamie (1:27)

Hyperbaric chamber?

Joe Rogan (1:28)

Yeah, the hyperbaric chamber. Are you still doing that?

Jamie (1:31)

Was that what it was or was it the sensory deprivation tank?

Joe Rogan (1:35)

Oh, the one where you float?

Jamie (1:36)

Yeah. Because we had that at the studio. We didn't have a hyperbaric at the studio. But I do have a hyperbaric.

Joe Rogan (1:43)

You have that now here?

Jamie (1:44)

Yeah. Not here. I have it at my house.

Joe Rogan (1:46)

I just was always impressed at just your consciousness on things that are unique, right? And as time goes on, sometimes as we evolve, whether we evolve in physically, mentally, spiritually, or economically, sometimes we leave certain things behind.

Jamie (2:05)

Right.

Joe Rogan (2:05)

And I said, I wonder if Joe keep moving his chi in the same direction. So that's my question to you.

Jamie (2:14)

Well, sometimes it gets caught up in momentum, and you got to step back and just realign yourself. That's definitely a factor. Like sometimes I'm too busy, and I get too caught up in momentum of things, and you kind of like lose like, why am I doing this? Like what is the process? Like what is the reason for doing all this? But vacation always fixes that. Like you take a few days off, you can go, okay, now enjoy it.

Yeah.

Joe Rogan (2:42)

I feel the same, to be honest, I've been running around for like, I don't know, for like eight days straight. And I like to kind of make sure I exercise, do my Tai Chi or something, or stretch my body. But I was telling my wife last night, like, yo, I haven't worked out since we've been moving. But I've been drinking every night.

So I'm like, I gotta, so today, this morning, before I came here, I got up a little bit earlier and I went and stretched and got all that out. And that's what made this question come to my head, was like, I wonder, like, as we grow and we become more and more involved and we're getting whatever it is in life that's given us, how we're getting these blessings, but how far do we get away from the blessings that kind of made us solid? You know what I mean?

Jamie (3:29)

Yeah, I try not to get as far, I try to stay as close as possible to like centering my body. Like, if I don't work out, like, just a couple days in a row, I start feeling weird. Just two days.

Two days, I just start feeling like, crack, crack, crack, crack.

I feel antsy, I feel irritated. Just, I don't think I'm thinking clear. I don't feel relaxed.

Joe Rogan (3:50)

I think I'm the same. Maybe for me, it's three and a half days.

Jamie (3:54)

Well, what drives me nuts is like, how many people out there, that's their whole life. There's no exercise in their life. Like, my God, you're doing yourself such a disservice.
