Robinhood just made its first Bitcoin purchase for its own balance sheet, adding $25 million worth of BTC while Bitcoin is getting hammered. But beneath the red candles, institutional adoption continues accelerating as ETFs, public companies and governments collectively control millions of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is getting smoked today. But underneath the red candles, something much bigger is happening. Wall Street's turning bullish. Banks are moving in. Government wallets just moved $103 million. The price is screaming fear. The money is telling a different story. And today's setup is getting violent. Let's get right into it. Robinhood just made the move every Bitcoin bear should fear. Bitcoin is bleeding, fear is exploding. And Robinhood just did something it has never done before. It bought Bitcoin for its own balance sheet. $25 million worth. Not for its customers, for itself. While the crowd panics, another public company just started stacking biddies. This is how $2 million Bitcoin starts because Robinhood already had every reason to benefit from Bitcoin without owning it. It's built one of the largest retail trading platforms in the United States. It lets millions of customers buy and sell Bitcoin. It makes money from the infrastructure surrounding the asset. And that still wasn't enough. Now Robinhood wants Bitcoin on its own books. That distinction is massive. There is a difference between making money from Bitcoin and deciding you need to own Bitcoin. Robinhood just crossed that line. And look at when they're doing it. Not while Bitcoin is ripping through new all-time highs. Not while your timeline is drowning in laser eyes and victory laps. They're buying while Bitcoin is getting punched in the face. That's the signal. Retail sees a red candle and asks, how much lower can Bitcoin go? Corporations see the same red candle and ask, how much Bitcoin can we get? Two completely different games. And Robinhood is far from alone. Nearly one and a half million Bitcoin is already locked inside US-bought Bitcoin ETFs. Public companies have accumulated another 1.28 million BTC.

Nation states control roughly 500,000 bitties. BlackRock alone is approaching 800,000 bitties. And Strategy has amassed another 848,000 bitties. Add it all up and the picture becomes impossible to ignore. Some of the largest corporations, asset managers and governments on Earth, are already sitting on millions of Bitcoin. And the list of buyers keeps getting longer. Banks that spent years treating Bitcoin like radioactive waste are building products around it. The fiat matrix is slowly being forced to integrate the very asset designed to escape it. This is what the early stages of a corporate Bitcoin land grab look like. It doesn't happen all at once. One company crosses the line, then another and another. Then holding zero Bitcoin starts looking stranger than holding Bitcoin. That is when the game completely changes. Because corporations don't need to put 50% of their treasury into Bitcoin to create a monster wave of demand. They simply need to decide that zero is no longer the correct allocation.

Multiply that shift across thousands of public companies, institutions, funds and sovereign balance sheets. And suddenly, they're all competing for the same Bitcoin. Robinhood's 25 million purchase isn't enormous by Wall Street standards. That's precisely why this matters. This isn't about one purchase. It's about another domino falling, another boardroom deciding Bitcoin belongs on the balance sheet, another company moving from observer to owner. Bitcoin bearers are staring at today's price. They're missing the migration happening underneath it. The infrastructure has been built. The regulatory walls are coming down. Institutional access, it's already here. Corporate adoption is accelerating. And every cycle, the pool of serious buyers gets bigger. So let them celebrate the red candles. Let them scream that Bitcoin is dead for the 10,000th time. The institutions aren't leaving. They're arriving. Robinhood just proved it. And when this accumulation truly goes parabolic, $2 million Bitcoin won't sound insane. It'll sound inevitable. And Robinhood is only one piece of what just happened. Because while Bitcoin is getting hammered, a $12 trillion financial giant just declared Bitcoin is in a new bull market. And US government wallets just moved more than $100 million. So forget the red candle for a second. Because today's headlines are telling a very different story than today's price. This is the corporate game theory which is playing out. Saylor was the first company to put the Bitcoin on the balance sheet. And now there's literally hundreds of companies with Bitcoin on their balance sheet. So another one bites the dust here with Robinhood. And I have a strong feeling this won't be their last purchase. This is just the beginning.

Welcome, everyone, to Pod Episode 2479, I'm your host, JV. It's Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 Breaking news, Russian banking giant Sberbank just announced they have received approval to provide Bitcoin custody services. The largest bank in Russia is going all in on the prelo bitty. So as you know, we got adoption coming from all parts of the world right now. Russia did move forward with their crypto guidelines or equivalent to the Clarity Act. The United States fumbled on the one yard line. But then again, we don't need 600 pages of restrictions, aka the Clarity Act for Bitcoin to continue doing what it does best going up forever. Because here's the deal. Bitcoin has been doing just fine for the past 17 years since the Genesis block, and it doesn't need governments. It doesn't need bills. It doesn't need the Senate and it sure as hell doesn't need no Democrats. Game Theory has already kicked off. Nigibu Kelly's El Salvador was the very Bitcoin country, the first country to make Bitcoin legal tender. Now the United States has a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve, which was signed via executive order from Trump back in 2025 And the essence of that is acquiring 200,000 Bitcoin per year, using net neutral strategies for five consecutive years, and then stockpiling that 1 million Bitcoin for a minimal of 20 years. Right now, all the Bitcoin the United States has accumulated was through confiscation.
