Bitcoin never needed their permission and it never will. Now imagine America being stupid enough to regulate itself out of the Bitcoin revolution. That's exactly what's on the table. The vote is set, the odds are horrible. And if you own Bitcoin, September 15th is the deadline. Washington has 37 days to decide whether America leads the Bitcoin revolution or hands trillions in capital to the rest of the planet. The Senate just put the Clarity Act on the calendar, and right now the market is betting whether Washington fails. Polymarket gives the legislation just a 21% chance of being signed into law this year. Not because Bitcoin stopped working, not because adoption disappeared, not because institutions walked away, but because Washington may once again fail to get out of its own way. A White House official is now accusing the Democrats of deliberately sabotaging the legislation, demanding another extension while negotiations continue to drag on. And the warning coming from the administration is brutal. If Congress cannot get this done by September, they may never get it done. That matters because America isn't debating some fringe experiment anymore. Bitcoin is already a $1.3 trillion asset as of today. The largest asset managers on earth are already involved. For example, BlackRock, Vanguard, they're both the primary shareholders of Strategy, the largest corporate Bitcoin holder in the world, just FYI. Public companies are building Bitcoin treasuries. Banks are building infrastructure around Bitcoin. And trillions of dollars inside the American financial system are watching the regulatory battle unfold. That brings us to the $21 trillion question. BlackRock alone now manages more than $15 trillion, one asset manager. And that's before you even begin counting America's banks, retirement accounts, pensions and the rest of the institutional capital sitting right now on the sidelines. That's the scale behind the $21 trillion headline. Not 21 trillion suddenly pouring into Bitcoin, but tens of trillions in capital gaining clearer pathways to an asset with only 21 million coins. Bitcoin doesn't need it all and doesn't even need half. A fraction of that capital chasing Bitcoin changes the math fast. That's why September matters. But here's the part Washington still hasn't figured out. Bitcoin isn't waiting. While politicians negotiate, Bitcoin keeps producing blocks. While regulators argue over jurisdiction, Bitcoin keeps settling transactions. And this weekend, the network delivered another reminder of exactly who controls Bitcoin. Michael Saylor pointed to the failure of BIP 110, a proposed fork that attempted to take Bitcoin in another direction. Nobody banned it. Nobody needed to. The market decided. And according to Saylor, roughly 99.85% of Bitcoin's hash power stayed with Bitcoin. The competing branch mined just two blocks and quickly fell more than 80 blocks behind. That's Bitcoin governance in its purest form. You are free to propose, you are free to fork, and you're free to leave. You cannot force Bitcoin to follow you. Meanwhile, network activity is moving in the opposite direction, a political paralysis. Santiment now reports roughly 2.27 million new Bitcoin wallets, alongside approximately 751,000 active wallets. As the recent coal card chaos pushes more holders to reconsider self-custody and move funds, and Saylor just posted the strategy tracker again, a familiar Sunday signal that Bitcoiners will be watching closely heading into Monday. So let's look at the contrast. Washington is fighting over whether America can establish clear rules around an asset that refuses to wait for Washington. The Senate now has a date. It's September 15th. The political market sees only a 21% chance of success this year. And tens of trillions of dollars in American capital sit on the other side of that regulatory wall. Congress can delay. Politicians will fight. Lobbyists can demand extensions. But Bitcoin keeps moving. September isn't Bitcoin's deadline. It's Washington's. And Bitcoin will be here either way. Bitcoin doesn't wait for permission. And it sure as hell doesn't wait for politicians. So let's break down what happens September 15th and why the odds are stacked against America and what happens if Congress blows it. As you can see, announced here yesterday by Polymarge, breaking news, the US Senate schedules a vote on the Clarity Act for Tuesday, September 15th. And at the time this was published, there was a 22% chance the Clarity Act signed into law. And if you click on it, it'll update in real time. When I checked it this morning, it was 21%.
And right now, it's 21% as well, which means people are betting on the fact they don't think the Clarity Act will get passed into law this year. But I want to know your thoughts. Let me know in the comments, and I'll read them out loud here in just a little bit. I want to remind everyone Bitcoin obviously doesn't need any bill, doesn't need politicians, it doesn't need governments, and it sure as hell doesn't need a Clarity Act. But America truly does. It needs to define clearer rules for it to move forward and attract those hundreds of trillions of dollars worth of capital into this nascent asset class we call Bitcoin. Bada boom, bada bing, it's a Bitcoin thing. Now, I decipher things different than what's on the surface. That's probably why you watch my podcast, I think differently than most human beings. In my humble opinion, the Democrats and Republicans are on the same team, working for the forces of evil that control the US government, different branches, same tree, same connected roots. This could all just be a game with the American people for all we know. I am a conspiracy theorist at heart, because every conspiracy theory proved to be true over the years. Why would I think any differently? However, I'm still hopeful America moves forward. But if it doesn't, I'm not holding my breath. You know, I don't really trust the US government. Oh, my God, how dare you? You're an American. It's true. I was born in America. I live in America. I may live in a commonwealth here in Puerto Rico of the United States. But nonetheless, I love America. I want America to move forward. I want them to adopt Bitcoin because I understand if we don't, all the other countries and all our other competition will. Trump talks about it all time. China, we have to do it. China, Russia, game theory. And there's truth to that. And there's truth in a lot of what they say. But to understand the full picture, you got to be able to decipher and read between the lines, connect the pieces. That's my master thesis. Let me know if you agree or disagree. Agree to disagree. Holla at you, boy.
