Congress has officially begun discussing legislation that could authorize the United States to acquire up to one million Bitcoin while continuing to advance the CLARITY Act.

You don't change Bitcoin. Bitcoin changes everyone, including Congress. Literally, the United States spent 15 years ignoring Bitcoin. Today, it's debating buying 1 million of them. Bitcoin never needed Washington. Washington finally needs Bitcoin. That reversal changes everything. Because Bitcoin didn't wait for government approval, it didn't ask permission from Congress, it didn't need banks to understand it, and it didn't need Wall Street to believe in it. That's for sure. Bitcoin kept producing blocks, tick-tock, every 10 minutes, through every election, through every administration, and through every attack, through every declaration that Bitcoin was pronounced dead. Oh my God, Bitcoin is dead. Washington laughed at Bitcoin.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:45)
Ha ha ha ha ha.

Then Washington fought for Bitcoin. Then Washington regulated Bitcoin, and now Washington is debating how much Bitcoin the US should own. Let that all sink in, yo. The same government that has spent years trying to slow down, Bitcoin is now debating a strategic Bitcoin reserve. Not a symbolic reserve and not a tiny experiment. We're talking one million Bitcoin. That would represent nearly 5% of the entire Bitcoin supply that will ever exist. And suddenly, the conversation has changed. The question is no longer whether Bitcoin belongs inside the financial system. The question is becoming how much Bitcoin the United States can secure before the other nations do. That's a massive shift because America isn't alone. Governments around the world are studying Bitcoin. Public companies are buying. ETFs are absorbing supply. Wall Street keeps accumulating. Nation states are next. Long-term hodlers keep refusing to sell their bitties. And every serious buyer is competing for the same finite limited supply. There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin. It's hard coded. No president can print more. No central bank can change the supply.
No emergency meetings can create additional coins. That's exactly why Washington needs Bitcoin. The dollar is being diluted. Government debt keeps expanding. Interest payments keep growing. Purchasing power keeps disappearing. Bitcoin offers something that the governments cannot manufacture. Absolute scarcity. And Washington is finally being forced to acknowledge it. Today's Clarity Act hearing wasn't just about regulation. One congressman called it essential to keep in America at the center of the global economy. Another said, we're on the one-yard line, and we just have to score the touchdown. Let's go. That represents a government slowly accepting a reality Bitcoiners understood years ago. Bitcoin is not leaving. Bitcoin is not dying. Bitcoin is not waiting for political approval. It will keep operating with or without Washington. But Washington cannot ignore Bitcoin forever because the longer America waits, the more Bitcoin, which gets absorbed by the corporations, the funds, the institutions and competing nations. That creates urgency, not for Bitcoin, but for the United States. Bitcoin has all the time in the world. America does not. Every day Washington waits, someone else buys Bitcoin. Every month, Congress debates the available supply keeps shrinking. Bitcoin becomes scarcer and harder to own. That's the real story, my friends. The United States isn't rescuing or legitimizing Bitcoin. Bitcoin has already proved itself. For 15 years straight, it survived every attack and kept growing stronger. Washington is not giving Bitcoin its moment. Bitcoin is giving Washington one final opportunity. The United States spent 15 years ignoring Bitcoin and may spend the next 15 years trying to catch up because Bitcoin never needed Washington. Washington finally realized it needs Bitcoin. Now let's look at the evidence because this story is just getting started. Breaking news, Representative Timmons says the Clarity Act is incredibly important in maintaining the US economy as the center of the global economy during today's hearing, which began at 10 a.m. in the morning. He says we're on the one yard line. We just got to score the touchdown.

The Clarity Act is incredibly important in maintaining the US economy as the center of the global economy. Do you agree with that?

**SPEAKER_4** (4:10)
Yeah, I mean, to the extent that this is going to be a technology that is infused into the businesses of all these other witnesses here, like it is imperative that that be within the structures, just like our securities markets are, just like our derivatives markets are, right? I think part of the reason of their success over the years has been the regulatory environment in which they get to operate.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:28)
Thank you for that. We're on the one yard line.

**SPEAKER_4** (4:29)
We just got to score the touchdown.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:31)
With that, I yield back.

**Justin Verrengia** (4:31)
Thank you. Touchdown, all right. We're at the one yard line. What do we do? A handoff to Barry Sanders? Run it right through? Touchdown? Or we do a little short pass to Jerry Rice? I'm old school like that. That's the last of the NFL roster I can remember.
