Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile. Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month is back. So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills. But it turns out, that's very illegal.
So there goes my big idea for the commercial. Give it a try at mintmobile.com/switch.

Up from payment of $45 for three months, $90 for six months, or $180 for 12 month plan required, $15 per month equivalent, taxes and fees extra, initial plan term only, greater than 50 gigabytes may slow when network is busy, everybody wants to know, how do I get rich?

Almost nobody asks where the rich store their wealth. Check it out. President Trump just disclosed making more than a billion dollars from crypto, meme coins, NFTs, stable coins, token sales, and even Ethereum staking. But buried inside the same financial disclosure was a detail almost everyone missed. Trump personally owns more than $100 million worth of Bitcoin held across two separate cold wallets. So even President Trump understands the importance of self custody. Go figure. Not on an exchange, not an ETF, he chose self custody.
That's the big takeaway here. And that's the part that completely changed how I viewed this filing. Making money and preserving wealth are two completely different things. That's exactly what stood out to me. Because after making more than a billion dollars across crypto ventures, Bitcoin was still one of his largest personal holdings. Think about that. If someone earns more than a billion dollars through crypto, they could personally hold almost anything they wanted. More meme coins, more token allocations, more stable coins. But according to Reuters, the Trump meme coin generated about $616 million for the Trump family, while investors lost more than $700 million.
Yet, despite all of that, one of his largest personal holdings was still Bitcoin. Because actions reveal far more than interviews ever will, it's easy to promote a project, it's much harder to decide where your own wealth belongs. That's exactly why those two cold wallets stood out to me. They weren't a marketing campaign, they were an intentional choice. History has repeated the same pattern for centuries. People create fortunes through businesses and innovation. Then they begin searching for something capable of preserving those fortunes. For generations, that role belonged to gold. Today, Bitcoin is increasingly entering that same conversation. Not because politicians said so, not because Wall Street approved it, but because people with significant wealth are making that decision themselves. That's why this disclosure matters. Not because he reportedly generated more than a billion dollars from crypto businesses. It's because those two facts exist side by side. One shows how wealth was created, the other shows what he chose to protect it with. That's a distinction worth paying attention to. Because markets spend far too much time listening to what people say.
Financial disclosures tell a totally different story. They remove the marketing, they remove the interviews, and remove the opinions. What's left is the portfolio itself. And portfolios often reveal what people genuinely believe. The more I studied the financial disclosure, the more one conclusion kept standing out. Crypto businesses can generate enormous wealth. Bitcoin became where the wealth was protected. That's a very different message than most people took away from this report. Now we zoom out and think about. Everything happening right now around Bitcoin. Governments are accumulating, institutions continue buying, whales are adding, hundreds of thousands of Bitcoin. Meanwhile, one of the most recognizable figures in the world chose to protect part of his wealth with Bitcoin. That's not a price prediction, it's not a marketing campaign, it's an allocation. And allocations often tell you far more than the headlines ever will. Because after wealth has been created, every investor eventually asks the same question, where do I store it? And for a growing number of investors, institutions and now public figures, the answer appears to be Bitcoin self-custody. And history suggests the biggest signals rarely come from what people promote, they come from what people choose to own. Enough with the talk, let's look at the receipts. Trump discloses two Bitcoin coal wallets worth over $50 million each. A new federal ethics filing shows President Trump personally holds more than $100 million in Bitcoin across two coal wallets, marking his first public acknowledgement of owning Bitcoin. Am I surprised? No, Trump's not an idiot. He's not going to be holding his wealth in Trump coin or Melania coin, especially because of what I'm about to share with you. Now, the number of financial side deals the Trump family is running is so shocking, it can sometimes be hard to track. According to Reuters, their crypto ventures alone have delivered $2.3 billion to Trump and company while creating a similar size loss for investors, which ultimately means every dollar the Trump family gains from their crypto investments is a dollar that the investors lose. So keep this in mind next time before you decide to purchase the next latest and greatest meme coin. It doesn't matter if it's Trump's meme coin or Melania, and I'll show you exactly what I'm talking about. The Trump meme coin generated about $616 million for the Trump family, while buyers lost more than $700 million, according to Reuters. The coin has tumbled 97% from its January 2025 peak. So please tell me you did not invest into that shit coin, because the only big winner is obviously the Trump family, and it doesn't stop there. Their serial shit coiners, unfortunately, Melania tweeted promoting her meme coin January 19th, 2025 She was the first lady again a day later, where doing this would have been illegal. Their team cashed out $35.8 million in profits from this pump and dump. If you bought $10,000 worth that launch, it'd be worth today $58.
