For many of us, the holiday season means more travel, more shopping, more time online, and more of your personal information in more places you can't control. I mean, just think of all the places that you use your credit card, or all the times you input your address for shipping. I don't know about you, but that's not something I wanna get spread around. It only takes one innocent mistake, even if it's not your mistake, to expose you to identity theft. Not to worry, LifeLock monitors hundreds of millions of data every second and alerts you to threats you could miss by yourself, even if you keep an eye on your bank and credit card statements. If your identity is stolen, your own U.S.-based restoration specialist will fix it guaranteed. The last thing you wanna do this holiday season is face drained accounts, fraudulent loans, or other financial losses from identity theft all alone. Joe Rogan (2:36)
Good to see you.
Evan Hafer (2:36)
Good to see you.
Joe Rogan (2:38)
So, this conversation was, well, anytime you want to come on, I'm always happy to talk to you. But this conversation was birthed out of that crazy conversation we had in elk hunting camp.
Evan Hafer (2:48)
Which one?
Joe Rogan (2:49)
Well, yeah, we had quite a few of them. Would you just, you will open up my eyes to some of these. First of all, I never understood the extent of the manfuckery in Afghanistan.
Evan Hafer (3:03)
Oh.
Joe Rogan (3:04)
When we were talking, remember we were hanging out in front of the trucks and you were telling me about mumbles?
Evan Hafer (3:08)
Yeah.
Joe Rogan (3:09)
There's a few conversations I've had with friends that for the rest of my life, now things are different. Like now, I look at, that one conversation, that one hour conversation we had, like, okay, the world's different now.
Evan Hafer (3:23)
I, you know, I always assume people have heard these stories from Afghanistan. Cheers. Yeah.
Jamie (3:29)
Cheers.
Joe Rogan (3:29)
You gotta drink that.
Evan Hafer (3:30)
Oh, yeah.
Jamie (3:31)
Cheers.
Evan Hafer (3:31)
Sorry, you can't choose that.
Joe Rogan (3:32)
Yeah. Buffalo Trace.
Evan Hafer (3:37)
So yeah, the amount of man on man buggery in Afghanistan is significant.
Joe Rogan (3:45)
Did they warn you about it before you went over there? No. No.
Evan Hafer (3:48)
I think there was so many different things about both Iraq and Afghanistan that the learning curve for all of us was so high.
Culturally, you don't think about a lot of those things. You just don't. You grow up in America.
Joe Rogan (4:04)
Right.
Evan Hafer (4:04)
You assume everybody, every man is basically like an American male, because that's at 26 or 27 years old. You know that there are cultural differences, for sure. But I'm telling you, I was in Kuwait for the first time early on, and the Kuwaitis like to hold hands. Like the dudes like to hold hands. And that's not comfortable, like for guys.
Joe Rogan (4:32)
Isn't that weird though, because we do shake hands.
Evan Hafer (4:34)
Yeah.
Joe Rogan (4:34)
You know what I mean?
Evan Hafer (4:35)
But you don't walk around holding another man's hand. It's just not comfortable in any scenario.
