Joe Rogan (0:13)
You get it. I get it, I get the whole thing.
Tim Dillon (0:16)
You see how powerful you feel?
Joe Rogan (0:18)
Yeah, you feel like you can talk shit, like you're in another dimension.
Tim Dillon (0:21)
All the things that you do, like working out and succeeding, you don't need to really do a lot of that. If you put these on, you get a lot of the effects of being a trained fighter and all that crap.
If you just put these on, you kind of get the idea of that until someone calls you out and kills you.
Joe Rogan (0:40)
Yeah, you got to avoid actual conflicts.
Tim Dillon (0:43)
You got to run away.
Joe Rogan (0:44)
But you do feel superior to people.
Tim Dillon (0:46)
Oh, for sure.
Joe Rogan (0:47)
Like you have a suit on or something.
Tim Dillon (0:49)
Yeah, it keeps you away. There's a distance between you and other people now.
Joe Rogan (0:54)
That must be why celebrities wear them when they go out.
Probably. Like we'll see like at concerts or UFC fights, you'll see celebrities with full on sunglasses.
Tim Dillon (1:04)
Interesting.
Joe Rogan (1:05)
Yeah.
They're like a cat hiding underneath a chair and the tail's hanging out. It's like, you can't see me, but I can see you, stupid.
Tim Dillon (1:13)
Yeah, no, people, they do give you some, and a lot of people, I guess, are on drugs.
Yeah, that's probably why. And then their eyes are bugged out of their head.
Joe Rogan (1:22)
I just think they're trying to avoid eye contact with people because then people are trying to give them a script.
Tim Dillon (1:27)
Yeah, I think that's true. They just don't, they want to be left alone.
Joe Rogan (1:30)
Yeah, I mean, if you want to be left alone in public, maybe that's the only way to do it. You just got to put these things.
Tim Dillon (1:35)
And they're getting bigger and bigger.
Joe Rogan (1:36)
These are so huge.
Tim Dillon (1:37)
They're crazy.
Joe Rogan (1:38)
This is like a rich lady who gets out of a car with a small dog.
Tim Dillon (1:42)
They're crazy, and you wear them, and when I got them, I got them as a joke, but then you just keep doing it.
Joe Rogan (1:48)
Because they're good.
Tim Dillon (1:49)
Because they're good, they're actually fun. And people come up to you and say nice things about the sunglasses.
Joe Rogan (1:55)
Which is weird.
Tim Dillon (1:56)
Which is weird. They'll go, these sunglasses are really cool.
And like cool people, like black people, like those, you know what I mean? Like a black guy will go, those shades are cool, and I'll go, that's great. Like if a guy like me says it, it means nothing, I would throw them out, but.
Joe Rogan (2:11)
Well, it was for, this is like a bad sunglasses from the 80s.
Tim Dillon (2:16)
Yeah.
Joe Rogan (2:17)
Like what Brian Bosworth used to wear. Do you remember the Bos?
Tim Dillon (2:20)
I don't.
Joe Rogan (2:21)
He was the guy who was famous for his sunglasses. He was a big time football player.
Tim Dillon (2:25)
Interesting.
Joe Rogan (2:25)
He was one of those, you know, every now and then one of those fellows like, what's his name? The one that's dating Taylor Swift?
Tim Dillon (2:31)
Travis Kelsey.
Joe Rogan (2:32)
That guy. Like when one of those guys breaks through and becomes famous, that was the Bos.
Tim Dillon (2:37)
Oh wow.
Joe Rogan (2:38)
See? Those are, I mean, those are corny as shit in 2000, but here we are in 2024
Tim Dillon (2:44)
They're back.
Joe Rogan (2:45)
Invest in Bell Bottoms, kids.
Tim Dillon (2:46)
They're absolutely back. They're absolutely back.
Joe Rogan (2:49)
Yeah, yeah, you had a mullet too.
Tim Dillon (2:51)
Everything comes back. Mullets are back.
Joe Rogan (2:54)
Yeah, mullets are back.
Theo probably helped with that. And lesbians. Theo and lesbians.
Tim Dillon (3:01)
There's not enough new ideas. You gotta recycle certain ideas.
Joe Rogan (3:05)
After a while you go, the mohawk's not that bad.
Tim Dillon (3:07)
Yeah, of course.
Joe Rogan (3:08)
What's the problem?
Tim Dillon (3:09)
Everything was baggy and then everything was tight and then now everything's getting baggy again.
Joe Rogan (3:14)
The ladies are wearing baggy pants.
Tim Dillon (3:16)
A lot of people are wearing baggy stuff, but then that'll probably swing.
Joe Rogan (3:20)
Yeah, I thought the whole idea of the tight pants is to show your body. That's what it's for, right?
