Dave Attell (0:14)

Joe, thanks for having us.

Joe Rogan (0:15)

Dave.

Ian Fidance (0:16)

Thank you so much.

Joe Rogan (0:17)

My pleasure, my pleasure. Thanks for coming to town.

Everybody's very excited.

Dave Attell (0:21)

I'm excited, dude. Playing the club, had to bring in Ian, super fan of the show.

Joe Rogan (0:26)

Thanks, Ian, I'm a fan of you, dude. You're a funny motherfucker.

Ian Fidance (0:30)

Thank you, bro. Means a lot, appreciate it.

Joe Rogan (0:31)

My pleasure.

Ian Fidance (0:32)

I'm excited to be at the club, man.

Joe Rogan (0:35)

Yeah, I'm excited to have you guys. Everybody's been pumped. We're pumped.

Dave Attell (0:38)

It's a stroke fest, but you know what, Joe?

I'm in town for the club to hang with you and also to promote a special. What do you think?

Joe Rogan (0:45)

Yay!

Dave Attell (0:49)

Only, I bring one out every other election year. I know, I don't have the turnaround you have, man. You're good.

Joe Rogan (0:54)

It's okay.

When you put them out, they're fucking magic. Skanks for the Memories is still one of my all time favorite comedy albums. It's a fucking classic.

Dave Attell (1:02)

It's weird when you, I'm sure you have this where a fan comes up to you and they repeat one of your most horrific jokes, you know, like, hey man, those titties ain't, and I'm like, whoa, say it in a corner.

SPEAKER_5 (1:14)

Not here.

Joe Rogan (1:14)

You know what happens to me sometimes, people bring up bits that I totally forgot.

Dave Attell (1:17)

Oh, true.

Joe Rogan (1:18)

I'm like, oh my God, how does that go?

SPEAKER_5 (1:20)

I have to ask them, how does it go?

Joe Rogan (1:22)

Oh yeah, there and everything, what was it on?

Dave Attell (1:24)

Yup, that's what it is, man, it's all a blur.

Joe Rogan (1:27)

Well, we're old, David, we're old now.

Dave Attell (1:30)

I am very, my mom's been in the hospital, right?

I went in there and people thought I was the patient. I was sitting in the room with her and they kept coming over to me. I'm like, her, her, I wish it was a joke, it's not.

Joe Rogan (1:43)

Oh, I've known you for at least 30 years.

Dave Attell (1:46)

For sure, well, it looks better on you than on me. That's for sure, that's why I brought in my intern to take some of the slack up.

Ian Fidance (1:53)

Wait, you guys are the same age?

Dave Attell (1:56)

I'm older than you, I'm older than you.

Joe Rogan (1:57)

How old are you?

Dave Attell (1:58)

59

Joe Rogan (1:59)

I'm 56

Dave Attell (2:00)

Okay, well, there you go, see? Yeah.

Three years ago, I looked like that. Now, I don't know what happened. I don't know what happened to me.

Joe Rogan (2:07)

It's all about the maintenance.

Dave Attell (2:09)

Well, yeah, you put the time in.

Joe Rogan (2:10)

You gotta keep that maintenance up. I saw it coming a long time ago, though. I saw it coming like in my 30s.

Dave Attell (2:15)

Yeah, but you never were like this. I mean, like you never were flabby.

Joe Rogan (2:18)

No, I never let myself go.

Jamie (2:19)

I never let myself go.

Joe Rogan (2:20)

I'm terrified of it.

Dave Attell (2:22)

Really?

Joe Rogan (2:22)

Yeah, because I've been injured before. I've had a bunch of surgeries. I know what it's like to have things not work good. I'm like, oh, you gotta do everything you can to make sure the fucking wheels are still on the machine. Yeah.

If you don't, we all know guys like Patrice. We lost Patrice.

Dave Attell (2:38)

Yeah.

Joe Rogan (2:39)

We all know guys who don't take care of themselves and fucking shit just starts breaking.

Dave Attell (2:44)

What do you think?

Joe Rogan (2:44)

And they just start falling apart.

Dave Attell (2:45)

I'm glad you brought up Patrice because we've lost a lot of greats, but Patrice is the one, a lot of people like super fans always bring up Patrice. What would he do in the age of ozempic? What do you think?

Joe Rogan (2:57)

Uh, I don't think he would go along with it.

Dave Attell (3:01)

I could see him putting it on like a cheeseburger or something, you know?

SPEAKER_5 (3:05)

He just was not, he's not into it.

Joe Rogan (3:07)

Fuck Eric category.

He's not going to do it. Like Brian Simpson got on it for a little while. It was terrible for him.

Dave Attell (3:13)

Really?

Joe Rogan (3:13)

He had a terrible reaction.
