This is going to be an extremely busy month. I have to watch 104 soccer games, follow the pregame, the postgame, yell useless opinions at the TV.
It's a lot. So I knew that when it comes to screening for colon cancer, the choice was clear. The Coligard Plus Test. It can be used at home and can only take 15 minutes, so I can do it during halftime and not miss any action. If you are 45 or older and at average risk, ask your healthcare provider about screening for colon cancer with the Coligard Test. You can also request a prescription at coligard.com.
Thank you.

You're going to pay with blood, and you won't get away from this. The Fantasy Universe, welcome one and all to a very special edition of the Fantasy Points Podcast. Brian Drake alongside the guru John Hansen and John, we're bringing back one of our favorite guests, and maybe the greatest guest we've ever had, and the greatest fantasy football player that any of us have ever had, John. We're going to bring back Chargers legend, and we could throw the Jets in there, you know, I live in New York, okay, NFL Hall of Famer Ladainian Tomlinson, John. This is going to be fun.
**John Hansen** (1:57)
Yeah, absolutely one of my favorite people on the planet. He is absolutely a real one, one of the nicest guys I've ever met. You know, I did an interview with him over 20 years ago, and LT is a superstar, he's done hundreds of interviews, probably thousands. But yet, him and I still stay in touch after that interview. We worked on Sirius XM once a week doing a show for a whole year, which was kind of like a full circle moment for LT.
Because when I met him and talked with him in 04, he hadn't even played Fantasy. And then 10 years later, here we are doing a show about Fantasy. So let's welcome in the great Ladainian Tomlinson. LT, what is up, my man? How have you been?
**Ladainian Tomlinson** (2:38)
Oh, man, I've been really good, guys. It's great to be on with you.
I'm excited to talk some Fantasy football, just to talk football in general, right?
**John Hansen** (2:48)
Yeah.
**Ladainian Tomlinson** (2:48)
I mean, it's been a long off season, it seems, but all is well and enjoying the summer right now.
**Brian Drake** (2:56)
Now, what are you doing now that you're not playing? A lot of people probably are curious, what does an elite NFL player do when they hang up the helmet and the shoulder pads go away? How do you spend your quality time? I know you've got a couple of kids.
You're just being dad hanging out around the house?
**Ladainian Tomlinson** (3:13)
Yeah, a little bit of everything, right? I'm definitely being dad, but I've got to split those dad duties into being a coach as well. I'm coaching my son. He's a rising sophomore. He's playing quarterback. And so he's slinging it around and running it and all that stuff. So I'm enjoying doing that. It's kind of weird though, coaching a QB.
He's like 6'2 already, man. But it's so fun. It's so gratifying to coach these kids, not only my son, but his teammates. And last year, my first year of coaching, we went undefeated and won the championship for the first time in school history. So got off to a good start.
**Brian Drake** (3:57)
That's fantastic.
**John Hansen** (3:58)
Well, I'm looking here at the data real quick. And your son is a quarterback. And I would argue Ladainian Tomlinson, the second best passing running back in NFL history behind Walter Payton. LT, what are your thoughts?
**Ladainian Tomlinson** (4:13)
That's true. That's true, John. You got me there.
You know, certainly Walter was someone that I looked up to, as you know, that, you know, we, we did a show together for a whole year and I enjoyed every bit of it. But you got to know a lot of a lot of those little tidbit things about me, where I was trying to catch Walter Payton in terms of passing touchdowns. And I just fell one short. And I remember the pass to Antonio Gates that I overthrew. He was wide open in the end zone and I overthrew him. And that would have tied the record. And I'm so bummed at myself. Still think about it today.
