You remember how some of these judgments lined up with the judgments of Egypt? You remember the anguish at the first born? All over Egypt, they were wailing because thousands and thousands of the first born Egyptians had died.

Thank you for joining us today on InGrace. My name is Jim Scudder, and I'm a pastor at Quentin Road Baptist Church in Lake Zurich, Illinois. But today we're going to be finishing a message we started yesterday, and it's out of Revelation chapter nine. And it's the idea of these four angels, these four fallen angels that are loosened from under the Euphrates. Now this is really strange, but I'm telling you, the Bible spells out what is coming. There should be no surprise. This is the sixth of the trumpet judgments, the final judgment. The seventh trumpet judgment will open up another series of judgments we call the bull or vile judgments. And we're going to see the wrath of God being poured out upon the earth. Today, we're going to talk more about these four fallen angels being loosened. We're going to be actually starting today talking about the devil, the accuser, in Revelation chapter 12, verse 10, being cast down. And we know that Satan is Lucifer, the chief of God's created angels, fell in pride. And we know that there is a day reserved of judgment, reserved for him, and there's a day of judgment for those that fell with him. We call them the demons or the fallen angels. So, they're all going to take part in the end times. They're going to think they're going to win. These angels that have been locked up for this time, they're going to be loose, they're going to be preparing to bring the armies of the world against God. Can you imagine? Satan thinks if he gets enough people together, he can defeat God. I'm so thankful that he that is within the believer, the Holy Spirit, God himself, is greater than he that is in the world. Look at verse 10 For the accuser of our brother is cast down. In other words, we read in other places in scripture that Satan is in heaven accusing you. Did you just see what Pastor Scudder just thought and how he treated his wife and how he wasn't patient when he should have been patient and how he whatever, whatever, whatever? And Jesus, our advocate, our attorney, says, you know what, I paid for that sin. And that goes on and he's accusing you. And Jesus is your advocate, your attorney. But now he's cast out of heaven in the future, and he's cast to the earth. The accuser of our brotherhood is cast down, which accused them before God day and night. How do you like that?

And they overcame him. How? By their works, by their good deeds, by their coming to church and being baptized and being good people? No. How can we overcome the devil and those accusations? By the blood of the lamb.

That's how you overcome the penalty of sin, and that's actually how you overcome sin in your life, too, is appealing to the blood of the lamb. And by the word of their testimony, they love not their lives unto death. So now we're talking about those that Satan hates and he's actually killed them for standing for the truth, those that have died because of their faith. The martyrs, the first was Stephen, and then continues on in the Tribulation. There will be thousands and thousands that will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be killed for that.

But now it's time. All of that will be put down, and we're finding it in our text in Revelation 9 This is that trumpet judgments. God is avenging the blood of the martyrs.
