This episode is sponsored by Fora Travel. I've always been the person people come to for travel advice, whether it's planning a camping trip in northern Michigan, figuring out how to travel well with kids across the country, or finding experiences that actually help families connect instead of just filling an itinerary. I genuinely have loved helping people create meaningful adventures, and I know a lot of you listening are probably that person too. The friend who plans the trip, the one who researches the details, the one person people trust to find the hidden gems and make everything run smoothly. Fora is built for people exactly like that. Fora is a modern travel agency that helps people build their own travel business, no matter what stage of life they're in. You don't need prior experience because Fora gives you the training technology and support to help you get started, and you're joining a community of people who are building businesses centered around experiences, relationships, and helping others travel well. A lot of advisors begin simply by helping people they already know and grow naturally from there. What I also appreciate is that there are no sales quotas or minimums. You can build this at a pace that works for your life and your family. Your next act starts here. Become a Fora advisor today at foratravel.com/1000hours.

**Emaad Ansari** (1:43)
It's a bit out of place.
**Abdullah Ansari** (1:44)
Yeah, it's really out of place. We can't thank you enough for having us here today. We're really so honored. Yeah, thank you so much.

Okay, let's start off by going down the line. This is kind of a little bit of a downer to start off with. But you talk in your book, The Teen Health Revolution, and I think other people have this experience where they are just going about their daily life, but they're struggling with some chronic health issues. So there's a woman named Dr. Anna Marie Temple. You may know her and her kids had some chronic health issues. And then Dr. Sina McCullough, you may also know her and she had her personal in her personal life, she could hardly get off of the floor. So both of these people are doctors and they're having these health issues, they are or maybe their kids are, and they're trying to figure out what's going on. So you kick off your book, The Teen Health Revolution, saying, both of our parents are doctors, but we're having some chronic health issues, we're not feeling great, maybe it's skin things. So why don't we kick it off? Just go down the line, Abdullah, if you want to start, tell us your name, you can tell us how old you are. I know after this, as soon as we're done, the four of you are speaking to 500 teens about mental health or our mental health awareness month. So can you go down the line and just say what you were struggling with? And then we're going to talk about some of the strategies that you have in your book about really turning your health around.

100%. And that's why it's so important because nobody, no kids, no teens know that it's possible to heal through lifestyle. And so we wanted to show the world that it was possible because we were able to do ourselves. So my name is Abdullah, I just turned 18
And for probably the last 10 years, we've been educating ourselves on how we can live the very best we possibly can naturally and the way that our bodies are always meant to.
**Emaad Ansari** (3:31)
And also, my name is Emaad, I'm 13 And I was dealing with chronic issues for years, like a waterfall that impacted my sleep and my life. But when we started incorporating food, it started healing me like medicine.
**Abdullah Ansari** (3:45)
My name is Zain, and I just turned 15
And I was dealing with mood issues, like uncontrollable rage, eczema. But luckily, when we got on this path of learning and education, we got to holistic medicine and our lifestyle. So all these impacted us, and they all helped us, and they were all like a medicine that healed me.
