The Joe Rogan Experience. It's good to be here, bro.

Joe Rogan (0:13)

Good to see you, my friend.

B-Real (0:14)

Yeah.

Joe Rogan (0:14)

We're up and at them. What's going on, man?

B-Real (0:17)

Chilling, man. Working hard, as always.

Joe Rogan (0:20)

Escape from LA.

B-Real (0:21)

Escape from LA, man.

That, you know, every time we go on tour, that's what I look at it like. Any shows, all right, all right, we're getting away for a little bit.

Joe Rogan (0:31)

Just take a breather. Alexa, I have hope LA comes back. I really do. I hope it re-emerges as what it used to be, or better.

B-Real (0:39)

Yeah. You know, I believe it can, too.

Joe Rogan (0:42)

Sure.

B-Real (0:43)

It possibly might, man, but it's gonna take a minute before we get the right people in there. I know. Who run in the spot, man.

Joe Rogan (0:51)

Who are the right people, though? That's the problem.

B-Real (0:53)

That's hard to say, right? I mean, it's just hard to trust any politician these days, man.

I mean, my friends have hit me up like, hey, when are you gonna run for mayor? I'm like, I'm definitely running for mayor. Are you crazy?

Joe Rogan (1:09)

Bro, you would win.

B-Real (1:10)

I probably would.

Joe Rogan (1:12)

Oh my God, you would win.

B-Real (1:13)

That would be the curse of me, right there.

Joe Rogan (1:15)

It would be the curse, bro. They would go digging deep into your past.

B-Real (1:18)

Exactly.

Joe Rogan (1:19)

Yeah, they'd find a bunch of liars, distort a bunch of facts. True that. Come up with a narrative.

B-Real (1:24)

As much of an open book as I've been, and open about everything I've done. Yeah, they'll always dig deeper to try to find more, especially when you're in that kind of spot.

Joe Rogan (1:36)

For sure. Also, if you're an open book, they'll still rewrite your chapters.

B-Real (1:39)

They'll rewrite the chapters.

Joe Rogan (1:41)

They'll go in there and go, no, let's change this around and make it a lot worse than it really was.

B-Real (1:45)

Absolutely.

Joe Rogan (1:46)

It's a dirty game. Who fucking wants to, that's the problem, like who wants to do that job?

B-Real (1:51)

You know what, it's crazy. The people that want to do that job these days, they're not there to do any work of what a politician's supposed to do. They're trying to get famous. You know, they want to be famous for something because now it's a seat to be famous in, you know? Then it's a shame because people that would actually maybe do the work, they don't even got a chance to get in there because they don't want to be famous. They're trying to get in there to do the work.

Well, others, like, I got this seat, I'm showboating this shit, oh, you know, this whole run.

Joe Rogan (2:25)

I didn't worry about it at all before COVID. I'm like, who gives a fuck who the mayor is? It runs, LA runs, they figure it out. It's crazy, it's chaotic, there's a lot of people, but it works. Now I'm like, oh my God, that shit's important.

It's so important. Who the governor is, who the mayor is, that shit is super important.

B-Real (2:42)

You know, when you're young, you don't pay attention to any of that stuff. You're just sort of living, going, trying to make your way. And as you get older and you start paying attention to the world and the news, you're like, hey, wait a minute.

Joe Rogan (2:55)

Yeah, once you have children and once you buy property, you're like, hey.

B-Real (2:59)

And you're paying taxes.

Jamie (3:00)

What the fuck is going on?

Joe Rogan (3:01)

They keep jacking up the taxes in California. The tents keep stacking up.

I have hope, I have hope. I root for them. I hope this new mayor, I hope she nails it.

B-Real (3:11)

Yeah, hopefully she does something about it. But it does cost a lot to live in California these days. It's crazy.

Joe Rogan (3:18)

It would be great if it went to a good thing. It cost a lot, but everyone was taken care of. They dealt with the homeless situation. They dealt with the crime. They dealt with the poverty. They dealt with all the bullshit.

But that doesn't seem to be the case.

B-Real (3:32)

It's not it. So cannabis, we know, generates California a huge amount of capital, right? And where did it go?

Where does it go?

Joe Rogan (3:46)

Where does it go?

B-Real (3:47)
