All right, there's this amazing book called Getting Everything You Can Out of All You've Got. I read it a few years ago and it changed my life.
And the reason I loved it was because it basically talks about how to get and make more money using things that you already have.
Coincidentally, today's podcast is brought to you by Business Made Simple. It's a podcast by Donald Miller, who I'm gonna tell you about in a second, but he has this amazing episode that's all related to this book and the things that I learned in this book. It's called How to Make Money With What You Already Have. It's an incredible episode. Talks about all the stuff that I learned in this book. The host is Donald Miller. I didn't know who Donald Miller was up until recently, but over the last 12 months, this is totally by coincidence. It was all separate people. They said, you have to check out Donald Miller. He's amazing. So I'm happy that he's part of HubSpot's Podcast Network. You can check it out, Business Made Simple Podcast. It's where he coaches you on how to build your business like an airplane, where the cockpit is your leadership, the body is your overhead, the right engine is your marketing, the left engine is your sales.
You have to check it out. This guy's amazing. It's called Business Made Simple with Donald Miller.

I get to see how they're wired. I get to see what makes them tick. I get to see what they're motivated by. So now when it comes time to get great, you know, great effort out of them, I know what moves the needle for them personally.

So on this episode, we're talking to Dan, we're asking about the episode. We broke down the coworking space and we found an interesting opportunity.
A founder started and sold a company in that space and he still said he would start another company in that space and thinks it could be huge, which is a good sign. We talked about this weird business called Ice Barrel. And then we talked about the Nike for Recovery, the Nike of Recovery, which is a really interesting company. Great story. And we talked about Adam Neumann, the founder of WeWork, and how he's got this crazy, hypnotic personality.
And I love learning about that. I actually think it's something that you need if you're gonna ever lead anyone.
**Sam Parr** (2:04)
And then I shared a Steve Jobs story I heard that may or may not be true. I have no idea.
**Shaan Puri** (2:10)
It could be true.
**Sam Parr** (2:11)
It could be true. That's all I will guarantee.
**Shaan Puri** (2:13)
All right, that's the episode. By the way, if there's a follow button on your Spotify, do me a favor, click that, because we're trying to grow the podcast, and then click the subscribe button on iTunes.
Thank you. It literally makes us like, we only need like a handful of people in order to like go up in the ratings, and it's because of that, I think. So click it.
**Sam Parr** (2:32)
What's up?
**Shaan Puri** (2:33)
What's going on? Cool shirt.
**Sam Parr** (2:35)
Thank you. Me or Dan.
Dan got a Harvard shirt also, so he's part of the crew now.
**Shaan Puri** (2:40)
Oh, there you go, Dan. You look nice.
But I actually, Dan, did you go to Harvard? I could see that.
**Sam Parr** (2:47)
Yeah, he looks like a Harvard man.
**Dan** (2:48)
I didn't go to Harvard, but I have been to the bookstore.
**Shaan Puri** (2:51)
Oh, all right, same, same, same.
What's going on? Anything new?
**Sam Parr** (2:57)
Yeah, lots of new stuff, but let's jump in. We have a bunch of topics today, so we'll spare people the small talk.
**Shaan Puri** (3:04)
All right, I think they like that, but that's fine. I'm down with getting down to business. Where do you want to go first?
**Sam Parr** (3:11)
You have something that you did a bunch of research on. I want to go to that first. Was it the co-working spaces you were going into? What are you looking at?
**Shaan Puri** (3:18)
Yeah, so, oh, by the way, I see you have Ice Barrel here. Interesting. I'm happy to discuss that.
Co-working. On our trip, Ben made a suggestion. One of us was teasing, like, we should do this, we should do this, we should do this. Him, or you, or me, one of us, but he was kind of nailing down the point, mentioned co-working.
**Sam Parr** (3:39)
Yeah.
**Shaan Puri** (3:39)
And I was like, that's kind of cool.
