Hey, everyone, welcome to Bless This Mess and The True Crime Podcast. I'm Cara, here with Stu, say hey, Stu.

**Stu** (0:24)
Hey.

**Cara** (0:24)
All right, we're back this week, and we are actually covering a case out of Texas that some of you might have seen. We're gonna be recovering, be covering Maternal Instinct on Netflix. So if you haven't watched it, pause, go watch it.
Then you'll know what we're talking about. So that's what you should do right now.

**Stu** (0:47)
Okay, I will go watch it.

**Cara** (0:49)
Yes, okay, so this also is going to be done a little bit differently because Stu has not watched it, even though he had instructions to do so today, he did not. I forgot, I had things going on. I wrote this and it's extremely long because I wrote all of my thoughts. So what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna tell the story this time, and Stu's gonna just listen and he's hearing the story for the first time with the rest of you, if you haven't watched the documentary. So he can just listen, take it in, maybe ask questions you might have, I don't know. You'll probably ask some dumbass questions that I've heard.

**Stu** (1:23)
First question.

**Cara** (1:24)
What?

**Stu** (1:26)
That somebody might have, I have an answer to. You did not write this down, you texted it.

**Cara** (1:31)
Yes, I sit there, yes, I can't do that, I'll get carpal tunnel, yes, I sit here, that's why whenever Stu's reading what I wrote sometime, because I sit there and I talk. I don't type it, I talk into my phone now because my hands get tired and stuff like that because I'm weak. I'm a weak technology reliant person now.
No, between being at work all day and stuff, I can't come home and type out 2,000 words. That's how many words is an episode for the most part. This is 5,000, but it's because I spoke all my thoughts into this. This is not written like normal. This is just me, just full, slow state frame of consciousness.

**Stu** (2:19)
Oh my God.

**Cara** (2:20)
I don't really want you to read it because you'll be like, so we have the footage of the house, and it says please instead of police because it always correct auto-cracks to please instead of police unless I say police real clearly.
It's not going to make a lot of sense to you, but it makes a lot of sense to me. This is my brain. This is my brain on crack.

**Stu** (2:46)
If I'm writing it out loud, it sounds like I'm having a stroke sometimes.

**Cara** (2:50)
Yes.
Anyway, rate, review, subscribe on wherever you get your podcast. We have Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. I've been sharing our dinners each night. I've been doing some little tips and tricks. Go check it out. I also still share the true crime, but I haven't watched a lot of true crime here lately because we've been super, super busy. As you know, like we mentioned last time, we are not moving to Beaumont. We are now moving to the Houston area. We had to go last week. That's why we don't have an episode in House Hunt, and we found a house, everybody.

**Stu** (3:21)
It is on.

**Cara** (3:25)
Let's give you the exact address, even though I get in trouble all the time. Every time I tell you guys we're going on a vacation, Stu says, I'm just setting us up to be robbed. We don't have anything anybody wants unless they want jinx. In that case, you can take him. No, I'm kidding.
He's become a real pill here lately.

**Stu** (3:43)
Maybe the next house, he can go outside.

**Cara** (3:45)
Yes, he should be able to go outside. The next house does not have a pool. So this house has a pool specifically because it's fucking hot out here. It's ridiculous right now and it's only June.
This is way hotter than normal here. It's like the lady at work said it was 111 degrees the other day while we were in Houston.

**Stu** (4:06)
Oh, Jesus.

**Cara** (4:07)
Yeah, crazy.
Anyway, so that's why we made sure and we got a pool out here, but we will not be having one at the next house unless it's an above ground one we put up. But we do have two of the children are swimming though, and I have to give the positive. We got, I got the three and the five year old are swimming like real good.

**Stu** (4:26)
He's four now.

**Cara** (4:27)
Oh, he did. He just turned four, but he technically started swimming when he was three. So I got two of them down. I got to get the, I'm working on the next one.
