Jamie Vernon (0:04)

The Joe Rogan Experience.

SPEAKER_3 (0:09)

The sound you hear is Ron White torching the end of his cigar, preparing.

Joe Rogan (0:22)

He's a professional. You know how he did that, Jamie?

Starts off torching it.

Ron White (0:27)

Yeah, you got to toast it.

Joe Rogan (0:28)

Is that what you do?

Ron White (0:29)

Yeah, because if you don't, if you just suck the flame into it, you'll burn it. You'll burn the inside of it instead of just toasting the outside of it. Get most of that surface hot and then just a little quick one to get it really going nice.

And the whole cigar will taste better.

Joe Rogan (0:45)

Really?

Ron White (0:46)

Yeah.

Joe Rogan (0:46)

Well, I fucked it up already. I've fucked up every cigar I've ever smoked.

Ron White (0:51)

Cigar Smoking Lessons by Ron White.

Joe Rogan (0:55)

So, Matt, this would be better than it is right now?

Ron White (1:00)

Yeah, I mean, that's how people light cigars. That's why they have a torch lighter, so you don't have to suck the flame into it.

Joe Rogan (1:05)

I thought the torch lighter was so that you don't have that stinky smell that you get from a regular lighter.

Ron White (1:12)

Well, it's the same butane.

Joe Rogan (1:14)

Yeah, but it's like, you know how, well, I think I'm thinking about pipes, like weed pipes. When people smoke weed out of pipes with the lighter, you always smell the lighter fluid.

Ron White (1:25)

A little bit of butane?

No, that's not what it's for. It's just so you don't suck that flame into it and burn more of the surface on the inside, and they just taste better.

Joe Rogan (1:35)

Ron, you're a professional.

Ron White (1:37)

I've been smoking cigars for years, so... How many?

Joe Rogan (1:41)

How many years?

Ron White (1:42)

You know, I started smoking cigars when I quit smoking cigarettes, so maybe 20 years ago.

Joe Rogan (1:47)

You quit smoking cigarettes, but those little cigars you smoke, I think they're kind of cigarettes.

Ron White (1:51)

You're jacked with nicotine, and I didn't know that because these aren't. There's more nicotine in one of these little things than there is in this whole thing.

Joe Rogan (2:00)

Really?

Jamie Vernon (2:00)

How's that possible?

Ron White (2:02)

It's because they just jack them with nicotine. Nicotine is an additive.

Joe Rogan (2:06)

They add nicotine to them? Do you smoke them like a cigarette, or do you smoke them like a cigar?

Ron White (2:12)

I don't even know. I pick it up, I light it, I know I inhale some of it, I know I don't inhale all of it.

But I go through a couple cans of them a day.

Jamie Vernon (2:22)

Let me try one of those?

Ron White (2:23)

Yeah, sure.

Joe Rogan (2:24)

Where do you get these at?

Ron White (2:26)

Anywhere.

Joe Rogan (2:27)

Romeo and Julieta.

Jamie Vernon (2:29)

It's a tiny little cigar.

Ron White (2:33)

I started smoking them on the golf course, because if I have a $15 cigar and I put it down on the tea box and somebody steps on it, I'm mad at them all day long, even though it's totally my fault.

And you can't let it go. But these things, I just light them and I take three drags off of them, hit the ball, throw them away.

Joe Rogan (2:50)

These are made by the same company that makes Romeo and Julieta cigars? So it's fine tobacco.

Ron White (2:57)

Oh, I did see that little tracer. I'm glad you warned me. That wasn't a microdose.

Joe Rogan (3:04)

Yeah, there's folks, we have shooting stars on our ceiling.

People will get weird sometimes. They can't figure out what the hell is happening. All right, here we go. I'm going to try one of Ron White's cigars.

Ron White (3:17)

This was nice.

Joe Rogan (3:22)

Yeah, you inhaled these like a cigarette, buddy.

SPEAKER_3 (3:24)

I like it.

Ron White (3:27)

I don't know, you don't smoke cigarettes, do you?

Joe Rogan (3:28)

I'll smoke a cigarette occasionally before a show. I'll steal one from Tony Hinchcliffe. You know why I like it? It gives me a head rush.

I love that head rush.

Ron White (3:36)

I wish I was that sensitive.

SPEAKER_3 (3:38)

You're going to get addicted. No, I'm not.

Joe Rogan (3:41)

I don't smoke them at any other time.

Ron White (3:44)

And you don't have an addictive personality.

Joe Rogan (3:46)

I think I do, but only like to do games and stuff.

Ron White (3:50)

You hunt elk, right?
