All right, there's this amazing book called Getting Everything You Can Out Of All You've Got. I read it a few years ago and it changed my life.
And the reason I loved it was because it basically talks about how to get and make more money using things that you already have.
Coincidentally, today's podcast is brought to you by Business Made Simple. It's a podcast by Donald Miller, who I'm gonna tell you about in a second, but he has this amazing episode that's all related to this book and the things that I learned in this book. It's called How To Make Money With What You Already Have. It's an incredible episode. Talks about all the stuff that I learned in this book. The host is Donald Miller. I didn't know who Donald Miller was up until recently, but over the last 12 months, this is totally by coincidence. It was all separate people. They said you have to check out Donald Miller. He's amazing. So I'm happy that he's part of HubSpot's podcast network. You can check it out, Business Made Simple Podcast. It's where he coaches you on how to build your business like an airplane, where the cockpit is your leadership, the body is your overhead, the right engine is your marketing, the left engine is your sales.
You have to check it out. This guy's amazing. It's called Business Made Simple with Donald Miller.

Hey, I've got a white male, six foot three. He's got a crowbar and I have, and he's trying to break into this building. Here's the address. I've just given them a description of the suspect, a description of the crime and the existence of weapons.
Every single police department in the nation, that's what their dispatch is designed to do. And they instantly categorize us.
**Sam Parr** (1:21)
You just described Sam at his own house, practicing crowbar combat.
**Shaan Patel** (1:32)
Hey, your thing looks pretty good.
**Sam Parr** (1:35)
Pretty good.
**Shaan Patel** (1:35)
No, I think it looks great.
**Sam Parr** (1:38)
I look fucking fantastic. You look fantastic. This is the best I've ever looked. If I look in a mirror, I had never seen this coming back. So whatever this camera is doing for me, this is just know if you're watching this, I'm uglier than this looks right now. So what do you think you think I'm uglier than this looks?
**Shaan Patel** (1:54)
I think you kind of look celebrity-ish. Like you got cool hair, you've got a cool beard. I think you look cooler than you've ever looked.
**Sam Parr** (2:02)
Thank you. That's how I feel. I feel cool. And I think I need a tattoo or something. I'm just like, now I'm trying to triple down on the celebrity status that I see.
**Shaan Patel** (2:11)
No, I think you look wonderful. Two things. First, today I wanna talk about paid communities a lot. But before we get into that, the second thing is what I wanna tell you. Last night, my wife, Sarah goes, good night, Shaan.
Because everyone's been saying that, dude, they say it in such a mean way.
**Sam Parr** (2:33)
Was she trolling or was it an accident?
**Shaan Patel** (2:35)
He's trolling because someone tweeted like, well, we think that you are Shaan and Shaan's you because Indian guys typically have high pitched nerdy voice and white guys like you have like low pitched alpha voice. It turns out Shaan's the one with the alpha voice. And I'm like, fuck.
So she called me Shaan.
**Sam Parr** (2:56)
Oh, that's amazing. I hope you guys were doing some great things while she called you Shaan. That was awesome.
**Shaan Patel** (3:01)
Yeah, well, she burned me good. But let's get right into, you wanna talk about paid communities? I did a lot of research because this interests me right now.
**Sam Parr** (3:10)
Okay, let's do it.
**Shaan Patel** (3:12)
Okay, so paid communities interest me because I came across this thing called Tiger21.
And this sounds like lame that I'm bringing this up now after selling the company, but I've been interested in this for years. Do you know what Tiger21 is?
**Sam Parr** (3:26)
I've heard about it. What I know about it is it's kind of like a mastermind peer group thing, but it's for a certain wealth level. I don't know if there's an actual cutoff, but it's supposed to be for wealthier.
And I think it's mostly older people.
And we have a couple of friends who are in it. So I texted one of them today about it. So I got a little bit of info, but tell me what I missed. What do you know about it?
