The Joe Rogan Experience. I'm here with the COVID Kid.

Tim Dillon (0:14)

COVID Kid, baby.

Joe Rogan (0:15)

No, you're free.

Tim Dillon (0:16)

I'm free.

Joe Rogan (0:16)

You're COVID-free.

Tim Dillon (0:17)

Antibodies are negative.

Joe Rogan (0:18)

Are you worried? You're traveling in some risky circumstances.

Tim Dillon (0:23)

Yeah, well, a lot of these clubs that you work are, they're pretty full. They're pretty full.

Joe Rogan (0:28)

I've been looking at those lines outside your club, I'm like, how big is this place where you're going to socially distance all these people?

Tim Dillon (0:35)

It doesn't seem that socially distanced, but- At all. I don't know, but we also don't know. Is it airborne? Can you get it?

Joe Rogan (0:43)

Yes.

Tim Dillon (0:43)

It is airborne.

Joe Rogan (0:44)

100%.

Tim Dillon (0:44)

Well, that's not great.

Joe Rogan (0:45)

No, you definitely can get it from the air.

But here's the thing, man. This is so politicized. It's been so politicized. If you look at the numbers of deaths, the numbers of deaths are way down. They're talking about the numbers of cases are up. But the deaths are way down.

Tim Dillon (1:00)

Yeah. They're much better at treating it.

Joe Rogan (1:01)

Yeah. Way better. But also, it's like people are better at taking care of themselves. They're going to go out and do things, too. They understand.

Most people are aware of vitamin D now.

Tim Dillon (1:11)

I take it every day. 5,000 I use.

Joe Rogan (1:13)

There you go. A lot of people wear zinc. A lot of people wear vitamin C. And a lot of people are also that are high risk. They're not going.

Tim Dillon (1:19)

Yeah. Sometimes you look at people in the clubs. I'll look at some members of my audience. I'm like, you shouldn't be here.

You're taking way too big of a risk.

Joe Rogan (1:29)

For a few ha ha's.

Tim Dillon (1:31)

Yeah, but I'm happy about the ticket and thanks for coming. But I'm just looking at them going, I wouldn't be in that chair if I were you.

But you got to make your own decision. Maybe you have to.

Joe Rogan (1:41)

I think if I was locked up for six months and I couldn't go out, and then one of my favorite comics was in town, I'm like, fuck, let's go out. Let's go out. Let's go do it.

Tim Dillon (1:50)

I got tickets.

Joe Rogan (1:51)

Mike, you coming?

Tim Dillon (1:52)

Yeah, well, you got to be, obviously, you want to avoid getting it. But there's a level of fatalism where you have to say, listen, you know, there's no guarantee you could walk out of your house and encounter any number of things that could kill you.

Joe Rogan (2:04)

Well, Florida just said, fuck it. They just fuck it. We're opening up.

Tim Dillon (2:08)

Full capacity.

Joe Rogan (2:09)

Everything. Concerts.

Everything. You could do like arenas.

Tim Dillon (2:13)

They weren't even closed down for that long. They closed down for a few weeks.

Joe Rogan (2:17)

Long enough.

Tim Dillon (2:17)

Yeah. They were like, that's enough.

Everyone's sobered up. That was just a hangover. Everybody got sober in Florida. They sobered up and went, let's get back at it.

Joe Rogan (2:25)

Disney World's been open forever. Disneyland and LA is still closed. They're about to go bankrupt.

Tim Dillon (2:30)

Yeah.

Joe Rogan (2:31)

Disney World. They're like, come on in. Wear a mask. I don't give a fuck.

Tim Dillon (2:33)

Yeah, who cares?

Joe Rogan (2:34)

They don't care.

Tim Dillon (2:35)

Yeah, just come in. Be careful.

Joe Rogan (2:36)

Don't get eaten by an alligator.

Tim Dillon (2:37)

Yeah.

Joe Rogan (2:37)

You might get eaten by an alligator or you might get a cough.

Tim Dillon (2:41)

Right. Or you might get a cold.

Joe Rogan (2:44)

Yeah.

Tim Dillon (2:44)

It seems like we're trending in the direction of things opening up.

Joe Rogan (2:48)

Listen, you gotta give people freedom. The government was never supposed to have the ability to tell you what you can and can't do in terms of what's risky. The argument against that is that you're putting other people in danger. At this point in time, we're six months into this fucking thing. You gotta peel the band-aid off. You gotta do something.

You can't just allow people to go bankrupt and never be able to work.

Tim Dillon (3:15)

Well, it's also like Thomas Sowell, the economist, said, he's like, there are no, one of my favorite quotes, he goes, there's no solutions, there's only trade-offs.
