There was something standing in the door and it just looked at me and said, you can have anything that you want. And I don't know why other than by the Holy Spirit. In my dream, I started saying, I reject that in Jesus' name. Every time I would try to say, I reject that in Jesus' name, this thing would get angrier and tell me to be careful. So I pulled myself awake and then something jumped on me in the bed. And I could feel the pressure like the weight of a body on my chest. I could feel two hands cover my mouth. And I had to physically fight to say the name Jesus. And that took about 15, 20 seconds. This was not like a sleep paralysis thing where I just couldn't move. This was something physically on top of me and hands around my face. So once I finally got the word Jesus out and told it to leave, I could feel it leave the room, go down the stairs and out the front door. So I'm very shaken. I've heard of things like this happening. I've had friends that were missionaries that have had similar experiences, but I'd never actually experienced it myself until that time.

Hey there and welcome to Strange Planet. Paul Bock went looking for intelligence on UFOs and came back warning people about demons. That's the short version. The long version is considerably stranger. Bock is a former US. Army green beret who served in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. In 2022, another green beret brought him into an effort examining the UAP problem for elements of the United States government. That put Bock in rooms and eventually homes with some of the people at the center of modern UFO disclosure. But somewhere along the way, Bock stopped being preoccupied with what was flying through the sky and became much more interested in what was talking to people on the ground. Contact experiences, remote viewing, psychedelics, entities offering healing, enlightenment, and secret knowledge, people being told they were chosen, families reporting that something had followed them home. And then, Bock says something came for him.

Today, he believes we're watching the emergence of a new religion built around non-human intelligence, and that at least some of the beings presenting themselves as enlightened extraterrestrials may be something considerably older and considerably darker.

My pleasure. Thank you. So before we get anywhere near UFOs, who were you before all of this entered your life?

Paul Bock (3:35)

So I was obviously a Green Beret.

I went in in 5 after my dad joined up after the towers went down. So he was in the Air Force, got out in the 80s, came back in in the reserves for the Army after the towers went down. He rolled overseas. So then I went in under the 18 X-ray program, which took me through the Infantry Basic Airborne Special Forces Prep course, which was basically a month long, just very intense course. And then from there, I went on to Special Forces Assessment and Selection. I was selected, graduated in 07, rolled straight over to 5th Special Forces Group. Within six months, I was in Iraq. I did Iraq 7 to 8, 09, 2010 Then I rolled over to Afghanistan, 2011, 2012 And then I was a Special Forces Assessment and Selection Cadre for a year and a half. Then I actually became a SFPC Cadre for another year and a half, rolled back to 5th Group, took my guys as the Ops Sergeant over to Syria. And that's actually where I met G, who I referenced in the book, who pulled me onto the platform. Came home from that. And as an answer to prayer about what God really wanted me to do, I ended up being medically retired unexpectedly in 2019, just due to everything my body had sustained over all those, all those rotations and all the explosions from trainings, things like that. So once I got out of the military, I would say after Afghanistan is when I really started to pursue Christ at a very, very deep level, much more than just surface and in name only.
