I'm doing well, Richard, thanks for having me.

As I mentioned, you spent decades as a Pentagon strategist analyzing military threats. Why did artificial intelligence become important for you to devote an entire trilogy and now this final book to it?

**Robert L. Maginnis** (4:09)
Well, I've always looked at national security issues as a strategist and thought, well, yeah, how do we approach the emergent threat and promise of artificial intelligence? And that really put me on the path to writing the trilogy. The first, AI for Mankind's Future, of course, answers the question, what is AI and what does it do to mankind? The second one, the new AI Cold War, looks at the geopolitics of artificial intelligence vis-a-vis, of course, what China is doing and the arms race, arguably, that we're in with China, but also the Russians and to a lesser extent, criminal syndicates, other nations like Korea, even Iran and the like.
I looked at this and I said, well, the convergence of technology, power, there's really a spiritual deception that's taking place here.
I looked at, as you indicate, Richard, in the intro, Revelation, especially 13 verses 14 through 18, then also chapter 14, 9 through 11
I said, this is truly the scaffolding for those prophetic outcomes. Now, I don't know if it is. I do not believe that AI is the Antichrist. It certainly could become a tool used by the Antichrist or the prophet, but I don't know that. But what I point out are all the similarities and certainly the technology. I went to a course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to get smart on some of the technology. I've studied much of this. I participate in all sorts of venues. I've interviewed some very significant personalities in this artificial intelligence ecosystem. And so I felt it was important to document this, and that's exactly what I did. And then, of course, I've been writing weekly for months and months now about the kind of the emergent issues associated with artificial intelligence. And of course, those are available on a number of venues. Specifically, where I'm a senior fellow at the Family Research Council, the Washington Stand, I have a long series of, I think, 43 articles now on artificial intelligence. So there's a lot going on.
