Boom, okay, so now that I'm the producer of the Donnell Rawlings podcast.

Donnell Rawlings (0:06)

We already established that.

Joe Rogan (0:07)

We established that.

Donnell Rawlings (0:08)

Yes.

Joe Rogan (0:08)

We've taken off the RZA, sir. Thank you for being here.

RZA (0:11)

Thank you, I'm gonna give him a beat.

Donnell Rawlings (0:14)

Man!

Joe Rogan (0:14)

He's gonna be, you're gonna have music.

RZA (0:17)

It's gonna be hip-hop.

Joe Rogan (0:19)

From hip-hop royalty.

Donnell Rawlings (0:19)

Yo, first off, when you said that, I said, I gotta button down too, don't just assume it's all hip-hop.

That was insulting, you know, not hip-hop. I would love any genre. If you have a vision or you see or you even connected to this at all, whatever you feel, I fucking gotta feel it. And I'll make it work.

Joe Rogan (0:38)

I think your idea of driving around talking shit is a great one. I like when Bill Burr did a podcast doing that. He basically did like these little video things doing that. But driving with Donnell is a great idea. Or even just, don't limit it. Do whatever the fuck you want. If one day you wanna drive, drive. If one day you wanna sit in your living room, just talk shit in your living room.

Donnell Rawlings (0:56)

Do that. The day was a good day for me because I knew it was coming to do your show. And I've been ducking the question and evading it for so long. When I see you, I can't even be real with you like I want to.

And I was like, I said, fuck, man, I'm doing Rogan in two hours. I gotta go do a podcast.

Joe Rogan (1:13)

What are you writing?

RZA (1:15)

I was just writing podcasts because I don't know if he was doing a podcast or a podcast.

Joe Rogan (1:19)

P-O-D.

Donnell Rawlings (1:20)

P-O-D.

RZA (1:21)

I know, so I'm just kind of, you know, I'm just taking notes.

Donnell Rawlings (1:24)

Yeah, yo, yo, it's just gonna be, like, it's just gonna be, I wanted Joe to stop bullying me. I didn't want him to talk shit because every time I see him, every time I see him, he be like this, we have a regular conversation, then he just start doing like this.

I'm like, this nigga about to hit me, right? Yo, he say, he say, what's up with the podcast? We gonna shoot that shit to the moon.

RZA (1:47)

Uh-uh.

Joe Rogan (1:48)

Come on, man.

RZA (1:49)

He start doing this.

Donnell Rawlings (1:49)

Yeah, yeah. It's that high school life.

SPEAKER_4 (1:51)

Three o'clock.

Joe Rogan (1:52)

I'm just trying to get him enthusiastic.

SPEAKER_4 (1:54)

I'm like, you're too good.

Joe Rogan (1:55)

You're too good to not have a podcast.

Donnell Rawlings (1:56)

He said, do this, and I said, and I'ma tell you, I could go in front of thousands and thousands of people. I ain't tripping off that shit. But it was just something about me talking to myself, talking to myself. I never did that.

44 minutes.

RZA (2:09)

Yeah, that's, yeah. You ever talk to yourself?

Donnell Rawlings (2:11)

I never did that.

RZA (2:12)

You know what? I gotta let, you gotta talk to yourself.

Donnell Rawlings (2:15)

But I never did it.

RZA (2:17)

But you know what? You gotta start, bro.

Donnell Rawlings (2:20)

Let me say, I gotta say this. Yo, yo, no, the real talk. Today, I've been talking to Joe, no bullshit. I've been talking to Joe about this shit for five months. We talk about it, people been, his fans are talking about it.

And I ain't gon front. I was a little nervous about it. And like, I was like, ah, ah, ah. And then when I did it today, when I finished it, I felt good as shit, son.

RZA (2:40)

See what I mean?

Donnell Rawlings (2:41)

I felt like this. I was like, oh, it's about to be on, son.

Joe Rogan (2:44)

It's on. See? We just had to get moving.

That's all you needed. You just needed a launch.

Donnell Rawlings (2:49)

They podcast off with Joe Rogan, producer and a RZA producer.

Joe Rogan (2:55)

And Jamie Vernon doing the check of the difficulties.

Donnell Rawlings (2:57)

Jamie was mad at me at first, though. Jamie went trying to help me.

And I said, okay, Jamie, you're absolutely right. I agree with you 100%. But what, I said, what can I do to help me and you?

Joe Rogan (3:25)

We're gonna make it happen.

Donnell Rawlings (3:27)

And we worked it out.

Joe Rogan (3:28)
