Oh yeah, that's all he is.
Joe Rogan (0:01)
Boom, and we're live. That's it.
Reggie Watts (0:04)
Hi.
Joe Rogan (0:04)
Hello, Reggie.
Reggie Watts (0:06)
Yeah, this stuff, purple venom.
Joe Rogan (0:08)
That's what he calls it?
Reggie Watts (0:08)
That's what his friend calls it. And yeah, his friend's like, I'm pretty skeptical about other people's stuff, but then he tried it.
Joe Rogan (0:15)
Is that a Coke Nail?
Reggie Watts (0:16)
No.
Joe Rogan (0:16)
The left one?
Reggie Watts (0:17)
No, I know.
Joe Rogan (0:18)
They're super long.
Reggie Watts (0:19)
People think that they're Coke Nails.
Joe Rogan (0:20)
Are they fake?
Reggie Watts (0:21)
No.
Joe Rogan (0:22)
They're real. But you don't do Coke?
Reggie Watts (0:24)
I don't do Coke.
Joe Rogan (0:25)
Ever? Have you ever done Coke?
Reggie Watts (0:26)
I mean, I do Coke Zero. I have done, it's like Coke Light. It looks like Coke. You can snort it. It feels like Coke, but it doesn't give you high.
No, I have. I've tried it, I would say honestly, maybe four times.
And I've never, it's always just felt like I just took three shots of espresso, and it doesn't do anything for me. Then I'm like, I better invest in that.
Joe Rogan (0:51)
I need to try it one day, because I need to know what's going on.
I'm 51 years old. I don't know what coke is.
Reggie Watts (0:59)
I think it's worth, if you don't have a predisposition for being a hyper addictive person now.
Joe Rogan (1:04)
Oh, I definitely do, but I'm also wise enough to know I can quit things.
Reggie Watts (1:09)
You've got experience, you can control yourself. Allegedly. I was never, I guess I've just never been someone who's like, oh shit, gotta have that forever. I've never been that way. The only thing that I'm reduced to now is just weed.
Joe Rogan (1:24)
Well, me too, but I also think that it's one of those things if your life is healthy, if you have a good balance and you're enjoying your time and you're being creative and you have good friends and you have fun, you're not looking for something to fuck your life up. I think many of the times when you're dealing with people that have like severe debilitating addictions that are really just taking over their life, there's something else going on.
Almost always, it's like problems. Relationship problems, work problems, life problems. They're not happy.
Reggie Watts (1:51)
There's an emptiness. There's an emptiness that wants to be fed.
Joe Rogan (1:54)
Or maybe you have a lot of success and you're freaking out about the success. I think that happens with some celebrities.
Reggie Watts (2:00)
Yes, I think so. Yeah, overstimulation and you don't know how to handle it.
So you can have the first. I used an automated machine. The auto, have you heard of it?
Joe Rogan (2:10)
No.
Reggie Watts (2:11)
So cool. It's like this like little.
Joe Rogan (2:12)
Grinder and a.
Reggie Watts (2:13)
It's a grinder and it fits on a tube that you put an empty rolling thing in there. So you put that in there and then it's like a clear tube. You put in the pre-rolled empty whatever joint thing and then you put this machine that just goes over, attaches magnetically and then you put in your weed and you just press a button. It's like coffee makers.
And it fills it up perfectly and then you just pack it by shaking it and twisting it and you're done.
Joe Rogan (2:41)
These goddamn stoners today. They're getting too crazy.
Reggie Watts (2:44)
I know. I rarely smoke. I always make exceptions for stuff like this.
Joe Rogan (2:48)
You rarely? Oh, look at it.
Wow. That's actually pretty sleek looking.
Reggie Watts (2:53)
Yeah, it's by Banana Brothers, I think.
Joe Rogan (2:56)
You know, I smoke pretty regularly, but I got high with B-Real. I did his smoke box show.
Oh.
Reggie Watts (3:05)
Who's B-Real?
Joe Rogan (3:06)
Cypress Hill.
Reggie Watts (3:07)
How dare you? I apologize. Just so you know, I know nothing about hip hop.
Joe Rogan (3:11)
God damn, Reggie. How do you not know anything about Cypress Hill?
Reggie Watts (3:14)
I know people are always like, you gotta know about hip hop. I'm like, I know shit. I know Run DMC.
Joe Rogan (3:19)
You really don't know any hip hop?
Reggie Watts (3:21)
No, I kinda stopped after the Bohemian phase.
You know, like after Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. It just kinda lost me because then it turned into. I liked Gangster in the beginning, cause it was something new and you're like, what the fuck is this? Oh, that's so cool.
