So guys, I'm sure you guys know this because you listened to the pod, Cal has a hyperfixation on red pandas. He's loved them for a very long time. And I've always wanted to take him to meet a red panda. Hi, baby.
And so I was watching this YouTube video. I watch a lot of YouTube videos on like animal, like whether it's like zoos or like people.

I watch a lot of Zibou Mahoo.

I saw this one guy go to the Santa Barbara Zoo and he met red pandas. I was like, oh my gosh, they have red pandas here. I've always wanted to take Cal to meet them. And so I looked online and immediately I found that they have like a special encounter where you can meet them and they have a pair named Ruby and Raj. And when I told Cal, Cal was like, he already knew. He was like, oh yeah, it's like their first set or first red pandas at the zoo.
I think like ever or something like that. And so it was like a really big news. We were really excited. So I booked like a private tour. And then we were planning for Heath's dates to come to LA for this month.

And I was like, wait, do you guys want to come with us? It's like a group thing. We can bring up to six. Like, let's all do this together. Of course, as long as Cal is okay with it and Cal was excited to share the red panda love. And we were supposed to be going basically tomorrow. And I was just on my laptop before we started and I was trying to look up, you know, the timing of when we should leave and everything.
Only to find out that four days ago, Ruby passed away.

She, I also had no idea because I booked this so long ago, I haven't followed up. She had twins and then both those babies died and then she died. And Alisha and I also just talked about Jackie and Shadow, and all I have to say is like, Who's Jackie and Shadow? The bald eagles.

And then this other random ass side eagle came up, kills Jackie, and then guess who Shadow is sleeping next to in the nest?

Shacken up with, I swear. They're not 100% sure though, if Katie Wan is the one that killed Jackie.

I am really sad. And we did just find this out literally before we started recording. So that's why we brought it up. But I hope that Raj is okay. And I think we're actually still going to go meet him this weekend. I think we have to. We have to go support him.
