nose.

Joe Rogan (0:00)

Not anymore.

Bryan Callen (0:02)

It behooved me.

Joe Rogan (0:05)

Yeah, have you ever looked at like Abe Vagoda's ears?

Bryan Callen (0:08)

Yeah, they were big. The ears and the nose grow.

Joe Rogan (0:11)

They keep growing.

Bryan Callen (0:12)

Yeah, age is a very annoying thing.

Joe Rogan (0:13)

Well, that's a weird one. It's almost like to let someone know, like, hey, look at these guys, proportions are all fucked up, he's got bad juice.

You know what I mean?

Bryan Callen (0:21)

Yeah. So how do I reduce? I wanted to get an ear reduction and a nose sharpening.

Joe Rogan (0:25)

I'm sure people have done that. I could only imagine if girls are getting... Well, girls... That's a different one.

Look at the big ass crazy ears.

Bryan Callen (0:35)

Look at the hair in his ears. Abe.

Joe Rogan (0:36)

Hey, he's not 12

Bryan Callen (0:38)

Shave those ears.

Joe Rogan (0:40)

Yeah, I've got hair growing out of my ears. I have to put a trimmer on a trimmer.

Bryan Callen (0:44)

Well, I'm vain. I pluck my... Yeah. If I see hair that doesn't belong somewhere, I'll take it out.

Joe Rogan (0:51)

Go wax it.

Bryan Callen (0:52)

My father, like, lets his nose hair grow, his eyebrows. I'm like, bro, would it kill you to...

Can you... I'm looking into your nose. It's a nest.

Joe Rogan (1:00)

Do you really saw your father, bro?

Bryan Callen (1:01)

Yeah, sometimes.

I get so mad at him because the way he eats sometimes... Like we were in Mexico and he would just show up. He'd go to breakfast. He has this belly and he's got like... He's got four French toasts and a waffle and a banana.

And I'm just sitting there and I get so mad. And then I started texting him. I text him. I go, listen, man, you got to start changing the way you eat. And I go... And I'm angry as I'm texting this. I'm getting more angry, more angry. So stop the bullshit and start eating. I was so angry. I had to tell him that I'm getting... My heart was beating. I was furious. I couldn't have text faster. I go, get it together, get it together and stop eating bullshit. And would it kill you to fucking move a little bit?

Bang! I just sent that.

Yeah.

Joe Rogan (1:50)

Strong.

Bryan Callen (1:50)

I don't want him to die.

Joe Rogan (1:52)

Does he exercise at all?

Bryan Callen (1:54)

Fuck, no. And I'll tell you why. When he was young, he was poor and he had to do manual labor. He had to work construction, he had to do everything with his hands.

So now that he has money, it reminds him of when, if you ask him to do shit, if you ask him to help you with a table, it reminds him of when he was poor and how awful it was.

Joe Rogan (2:15)

I was reading a book once on powerlifting, and one of the things they suggested is getting a manual labor job.

Bryan Callen (2:21)

That's, when you have to move furniture, okay, when you got to carry couches upstairs, yeah, yeah, that'll get you.

Joe Rogan (2:29)

I never saw that. I never saw anybody actually recommend that someone do that in order to get stronger.

Bryan Callen (2:35)

Well, when you, my friend who wrestled and played football on a high level, they used to work the farm. And they would, there was a thing where you would take hay and you would, you'd run after the truck, the truck's up, you take the hay and you throw it off, I guess you'd, just doing that.

Joe Rogan (2:52)

Oh, yeah.

Bryan Callen (2:53)

I mean, you know, you can get crazy strong. I worked construction one summer in Washington DC in the 95 degree heat and I had to dig a foundation for a building, for a house, just dig into the ground all day.

And then we had to demolish a house and take that debris, put it into a truck and then drive it to a landfill called Lawton, I think. And then we would take it off the truck. So that movement of digging and then demolition and digging and piling it in a truck and then piling it off a truck, you're too exhausted to do a goddamn thing. You're not working out after that.

Joe Rogan (3:32)

Yeah. If you do work out and you get used to it, though, I think that's the idea, is that your body becomes way more resilient. That's what he was saying.
