A good routine can help set you up for a great day. And that starts with a good night's sleep. Hatch Sleep Clock was built for this. Instead of giving you a sleep score, it helps you understand what actually helps you rest better.

It tracks your sleep right from your nightstand, so there's no ring or wristband to worry about. And it gives you personalized insights and recommendations so you can build a bedtime routine that actually works for you. You can even see how things like meditations, audiobooks, or sound baths affect your sleep over time. Because better sleep isn't another goal to chase or perfect. It's what helps you show up for everything else in your life.

Check out Hatch Sleep Clock, the sleep tracker designed to get you to sleep. Available now at hatch.co and Amazon.

Everyone knows those red target bags, but what's inside? That's a different story for everybody. Maybe it's something new you didn't know you needed, something that makes life a little easier, or turns an ordinary Tuesday into something to look forward to. Because a target bag isn't just full of things, it's full of what you need, what you love, and even what you'll love next. This fall, all that's new and uniquely you, it's in the bag, only at Target.

Change is ultimately necessary, but it doesn't mean that it's going to feel good. In fact, it will likely be very painful.

I was just thinking about that as we talk about these questions, because every Monday until this book comes out, I'm dedicating one of the topics I discussed in the book to our conversations here on the pod. It's really important to say that when you're evolving or pushing or growing or whatever, man, it sometimes really sucks.

Hi, I'm Rachel. In this show, we talk about everything. Life and work, health and healing, relationships with others and with ourselves. These are stories for the seekers. These are conversations for the curious. This is The Rachel Hollis Podcast.

Hi, guys. It's Rach. Welcome to another episode of the podcast. And a little bit of a different change up in the way that I normally shoot these conversations. We changed the office around, we changed the studio around, which is where I work, as well as where I shoot the actual... I'm looking over here. You can't see what I'm looking at, but this is where we shoot our interviews for the show. And we changed everything around, and I really loved it. I love my new calendars behind me. If you guys can't see this, you can go watch this episode on YouTube and check it out. But it reminded me of the setup at the very beginning of this show, back in 2017 when Jack and I were just trying to figure out how to get audio recorded and then put it up on the internet. And I don't know if any of you were around back then, but I used to sit at my desk and record the show. And I would record in kind of like whatever I was wearing that day, however my hair looked, however my makeup looked, because I was just excited to create something for you guys and really hoped that there would be some resonance for you and what I was saying or that maybe one of the guests that I had on the show could give you some advice or offer some wisdom that was helpful. But yeah, I really loved that. And over the years, I felt this call to be more and more polished in podcast interviews. And I think it makes a lot of sense with an interview because oftentimes people will come in to do the show and they're in the midst of a press day. So they're in like beautiful makeup or they got a great outfit on, their hair looks fabulous. And if I'm a bog troll, if I'm in pajamas, if I'm not coming at my best, I think there's a real disconnect. And I also think it's weird if you show up to meet your friend for lunch and one of you is dressed way better than the other, you're like in either situation, you're like, man, like nobody wants to be dressed five times as well as someone else, and nobody also wants to be the bog troll. So all of that to say, I got in this habit with interviews here on the show of having hair and makeup done, trying to pull a cute outfit. And then that made me feel like I needed to have the same level when I did episodes by myself. And not that you guys wanted this whole deep dive therapy session, but I think it makes it so that I'm less excited about doing a solo conversation like this, because I have this feeling that it doesn't fit well into my daily workflow. Because my daily workflow is like, I do get dressed. I put an outfit on, unless I'm not feeling good or something, I put an outfit on even though I'm working in my backyard. I still get dressed as if I'm going to an office with other people. Sometimes I have meetings, sometimes I don't, but I always put clothes on. But I don't in life tend to wear a lot of makeup. It's not really my jam. I'm not very good at it. I love it. I love to see it on other people. It just never really looks.
