9th.
Reggie Watts (0:00)
There we go, completed my homework.
Joe Rogan (0:06)
Boom. So what was the day that we were supposed to die from Nibiru?
Reggie Watts (0:11)
I think it was the 20th, it was Saturday.
Joe Rogan (0:14)
Yeah.
Reggie Watts (0:14)
23rd, is that right?
Joe Rogan (0:15)
23rd? Was it Jamie?
Jamie (0:16)
33 days after the eclipse.
Joe Rogan (0:18)
Oh, then Nibiru was going to come and smash us. Isn't it huge when we see it coming?
Reggie Watts (0:23)
Pretty big, it has to be pretty big.
Joe Rogan (0:24)
It has to be pretty big. Do you know the whole Zechariah Sitchin thing? Do you know the whole thing?
Reggie Watts (0:28)
A little bit, yeah. Yeah, I was kind of into that for a while.
It was a while ago that I realized I was like super into it, like Art Bell days.
SPEAKER_5 (0:37)
Yeah, yeah, I used to love Art Bell days.
Reggie Watts (0:40)
Remember when his son got kidnapped?
SPEAKER_6 (0:42)
Oh, that's, remember that?
Reggie Watts (0:44)
It was really weird, I don't know.
Joe Rogan (0:45)
Was it real?
Reggie Watts (0:46)
I couldn't tell if it was real or not.
SPEAKER_1 (0:47)
That was the problem.
Joe Rogan (0:49)
Yeah, I used to listen to it coming home from the comedy store. That was the thing to listen to. Yeah, there you go. 10 o'clock, late night, driving home.
SPEAKER_1 (0:55)
Yeah, totally, totally Art Bell, man.
Joe Rogan (0:57)
Midnight, Art Bell. Live from Pahrump, Nevada.
Reggie Watts (1:01)
Yeah, Pahrump.
Joe Rogan (1:02)
That was so great. He had this fenced in compound in Pahrump, Nevada with a radio signal. I mean, he was like, in a lot of ways, he was doing internet before the internet.
Reggie Watts (1:14)
Yeah, yeah, you're right. He was kind of like an aggregator, like a curator. I mean, as a curator, it was conscious curation, but is that what you mean? Like the content of what he was talking about?
Joe Rogan (1:26)
Well, it was also like, there's a lot of, I would say there's a lot more people that have access to like UFO conspiracy theory type stuff now because of the internet. And before then, Art Bell was like your only source for that.
Reggie Watts (1:41)
Oh, I got you. Right, right, right. Yeah, yeah, the deep cuts.
Joe Rogan (1:44)
Yeah, that kind of stuff. What is this?
Jamie (1:46)
This is his son kidnapping this pretty dark.
Joe Rogan (1:49)
Son assaulted by HIV teacher. Oh, Jesus, let's not put that on there. There's people out there.
Reggie Watts (1:57)
Yeah, I know.
Joe Rogan (1:58)
But Art Bell had this crazy fenced in compound that literally looked like it was in the middle of this open prairie.
Reggie Watts (2:05)
I never saw pictures of it.
Joe Rogan (2:07)
Yeah, they put pictures online. Who knows what I was looking at? It might not even have been that. It might have been like he faked people out with this. He might live in a regular house.
SPEAKER_1 (2:15)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Reggie Watts (2:18)
You want him to live in that situation.
SPEAKER_6 (2:20)
Yeah, I hope.
Reggie Watts (2:21)
Because he's kind of like a, you know, in a way, he was like a mystic. Those types of people, they're kind of like mystics. They're hermits. They live in like these weird places because they have to be, you know, in the right conditions to receive the information.
SPEAKER_6 (2:32)
Yeah, there's his house.
Joe Rogan (2:33)
See, it's all like fenced in.
Reggie Watts (2:35)
Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_5 (2:36)
Yeah.
Reggie Watts (2:36)
That's a very large, that's a weird, well, that's a weird, like someone's going over the fence.
Joe Rogan (2:42)
He's got windmills for electricity.
SPEAKER_5 (2:46)
Wow.
Joe Rogan (2:46)
He's got some big sort of truck. He's got backed in there where he gets probably supplies. He's a total prepper.
Reggie Watts (2:53)
That's amazing.
SPEAKER_1 (2:54)
Our bell is incredible.
Reggie Watts (2:56)
That's, and it's blue. Is it a bluish gratil or something like that?
Joe Rogan (3:00)
It is so like a Beverly Hills rundown motel color. You know?
Reggie Watts (3:05)
Is it Rambler?
Joe Rogan (3:06)
You know, like off tans and off blues.
Reggie Watts (3:09)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Joe Rogan (3:10)
Look at that tower, the radio tower.
This giant fucking tower in the middle of his yard. That can't give you cancer, can it?
SPEAKER_1 (3:17)
No.
Joe Rogan (3:18)
It should be, right? Sure, something's going on.
Reggie Watts (3:21)
It would never do anything.
