How Long Gone, Chris Black, I'm coming to you from-

Jason Stewart (0:22)

Bless you.

Chris Black (0:23)

Buckhead, I'm a Buckhead Betty this weekend, Atlanta, Georgia. Beautiful fall day. The dogs did fall yesterday to the Auburn Tigers. I felt that reverberate throughout the local area, but luckily it didn't affect me at all.

Jason Stewart (0:37)

Well, that's where you and I differ. I had a lot of scratch kind of rolling on those dogs.

Chris Black (0:41)

I know. Oh, well-

Jason Stewart (0:43)

I have to sell some of my Tesla.

Chris Black (0:44)

It's actually really cool to watch you desperately want to be a sports gambler, but you're kind of being a pussy about it, but I could tell that's where you're going.

Jason Stewart (0:54)

Well, because we've discussed how I'm trying to become more of a sports guy, and I've done everything except pulling the final emergency court of putting money on the games in order to make myself be interested enough to sit through one full game of any professional sport. Other than the World Cup of football, that was the last time in years where I've been seated and sat and gagged by sports.

Chris Black (1:27)

That's actually crazy because that's the least interesting thing I've ever watched in my life, maybe.

Jason Stewart (1:31)

Well, I like it because it's country versus country. Oh, I see. Okay. Because when you're watching the NBA or the NFL, I was watching the Dodgers get swept in the series and half the people on the team they're playing against, which is the Milwaukee Brewers. They all went to high school 10 seconds away from where I grew up in Huntington Beach. So it's like, we're just watching a bunch of dudes from Orange County and the Dominican just play sports on behalf, or when you're watching a hockey match and some kid who grew up in Saskatoon or whatever is on the Tampa Bay, whatever, thunder lightning, and you're like, this isn't, there's no stakes. I want it to be California versus the world, Colorado, whatever.

Chris Black (2:18)

No, I understand. I see.

Jason Stewart (2:19)

No, no, no, not in a Hitler kind of way. I'm just like going to make it interesting so you know.

Chris Black (2:23)

Maybe reword it next time then. So no, I do understand what you're saying. I just think that after watching a children's soccer match yesterday, I was reminded of even at every level of soccer. The glory of sport? I'm uninterested. The beautiful game, no matter what the level, whether it's seven-year-olds.

Jason Stewart (2:43)

So not even your twin nieces could get you halfway interested in the sweet science of football.

Chris Black (2:51)

I mean, I was set, of course, in a...

Jason Stewart (2:54)

I mean, obviously, they suck, but still, just on a DNA kind of level.

Chris Black (2:59)

I was like, where's the Pele here?

Because I'm looking for, where's the Ronaldo? Where's the Mbappe?

Jason Stewart (3:06)

You're looking for the Buckhead Mbappe in the five- to eight-year-old category? Is that what's going down?

Chris Black (3:12)

I mean, I'm just saying, like, I thought at this point, and maybe I'm confused, but I thought at this point, you know, if your child is going to be a star athlete, you already know, but maybe you've already plucked them out of this kind of peanut league and put them into some sort of private training so people like, other scouts like me can't see.

Jason Stewart (3:33)

It must be. We drew the curtain. This ain't the peanut league anymore. I'm working with a monster back here and I can't let you know what's behind closed doors because everyone's going to want to take it from me.

Chris Black (3:44)

Well, honestly, because I thought that like, you see all these fucking, oh, it's Cocoa Golf. Here she is at five years old at the fucking, you know what I mean? Like you're doing this from a young age.

Jason Stewart (3:52)

I only, I mean, Baby Gronk is the only child athlete that I've been heavily invested in and aware of since his creation.

Chris Black (4:01)

Exposed to, his creation. Since they built him in the lab.

Jason Stewart (4:05)

I mean, I watched him make his first fucking pass rush, you know, outside left, probably 15 game. That's beautiful. And now he's, you know, he's, I just read, he's like a child. I don't know what he is. He's like a little miniature riffraff, but he's already demanding like guarantees from NFL teams. Hell yeah, bro.

Chris Black (4:24)

Yeah, I'm committed. I'm early commit.
