How Long Gone, a typical man's response. It's a beautiful Thursday in New York. It's the temperatures have dropped after yesterday's humid nightmare. Back, baby, light jacket season, people are getting their little outfits off.
It's the nature's healing.
Jason Stewart (0:33)
I'm layering right now. And I also love that it seems like if you listen to the pod, and we get the morning weather report from Chris every day, I really, it varies so wildly from episode to episode. I love it. It goes from being cold, dead of summer, the humidity event, to regular, to chilly.
Chris Black (0:51)
Humidity event. There's been a humidity event.
Jason Stewart (0:56)
What is it? It's bad. It's bad. It's humid. No, I mean, I'm layering. I don't, today is the first day, even though there is a high of 90 today in LA.
Chris Black (1:05)
Let's go.
Jason Stewart (1:06)
When I woke up this morning, it was like 59 So I had to throw on my Dries, Heather Gray sweatpants, first time pulling them out of the season.
Chris Black (1:14)
Okay, you little thot.
Jason Stewart (1:15)
For a dick print season.
Chris Black (1:16)
You better not go to Ralph's with those on. You might get shows up.
Jason Stewart (1:20)
The problem, Dries, since it's a higher quality brand with great textiles, and we'll talk to our guest about the Maison Dries or whatever, but it's a thicker Heather Gray sweatpants. So the printability could cause issues with definition.
Chris Black (1:38)
It's reminding me, there's an Idlewild song called Rose Ability, and in my head now I'm just singing printability.
Jason Stewart (1:55)
Yeah, I mean, in the future on these online retailer websites, our Revolve, Men's, et cetera, our Zara, Homes, there's gonna be length, width, size, what's the sleeve, what's the neck size, and then what's the printability score of this trouser on the ham scale, of course, John Ham. Yeah, it's got to- Not the food.
Chris Black (2:16)
Well, I think for ham and recently Shaq, I don't know if you saw that one, but-
Jason Stewart (2:22)
Shaq definitely lies on his dick, there's no way.
Chris Black (2:24)
No, bro, Shaq was doing like a cable chest press where he was leaning over.
Jason Stewart (2:28)
I saw it. He had animatronics under that shit.
Chris Black (2:32)
He looked like he had one of those little starter logs tucked in his shorts, bro. He was going to the fireplace, bro.
Sam Hine (2:38)
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Jason Stewart (2:40)
You just called it a starter log?
I don't know where that- That's the new version. If you live in Vermont, New Hampshire or whatever, if you're voting for Bernie, that's what you call a chub or a semi, as you might call it.
Chris Black (2:55)
I got a starter log as a leaves change.
Jason Stewart (2:59)
Yeah, I'm not even gonna front, I'm sure he got me on a starter log right now. I'm darn well halfway.
Chris Black (3:05)
Oh God. Okay, well, because layering for you, from what I see when we podcast at least, usually means a shirt on skin, but you're saying that you're wearing a shirt and pants, so you're getting-
Jason Stewart (3:17)
I'm wearing a T-shirt and then a half or a quarter zip fleece on top, and then the sweatpants on the bottom. I think halfway through the show, I will lose the fleece because like I said, high of 90 today and we are, it's 851
By noon, it's gonna be boiling. I'm gonna be boiling eggs on the driveway, brother. Love that. Which is fine with me.
Chris Black (3:40)
Yeah, fine with me too. I'm just glad you're back from Mexico. Your bowels seem to be in order.
Didn't let any of that water get in your mouth while you were showering, so I'm proud of you. I'm proud of you for that. Sometimes you make little error, little boo-boo.
Jason Stewart (3:51)
Sometimes I do. Yeah, there was one of the models. There was a model there.
I don't want to say anything more to keep it vague, but a young man, attractive American, maybe not used to the ordering system of international travel and restaurants, but we're sitting down and there's like, here's the menu, whatever it is, huevos chilequiles and cochinita, all these dishes and he's like, let me just get like a chicken and rice bowl.
Chris Black (4:18)
Was his name Tim? This sounds like something of a-
Jason Stewart (4:21)
It was friend of the show Tim type behavior for sure, where you're like, look, I know that here's a menu, but my knowledge of Mexican food is chipotle. It starts and stops there. It's the first Mexican food I've ever had. It's the only, and I just want chicken and rice bowl, if we can just make that happen. Carlos, thank you so much.
